This studio is permanently closed. They should say so on the website and here on Google.

Located at the top floor of Medicard bldg. Clean space, the basic yoga class i attended was good and informative. You can borrow yoga blocks for free.

Excellent teacher today Sunday 26th March. Some beginner to advanced poses but nothing forced. Good depth breadth of asanas and pranayama work to open the mind, body and spirit. Namaste 🧘🏽‍♂️🎶 …

I love Surya Yoga! The studio is located on the top floor/rooftop of a 4 storey building in Makati, so it's often windy. 2 sides of its four walls are sliding doors which open wide. This ensures proper ventilation -- important during the pandemic! I've encountered 5 teachers so far, and all of them are super competent and nice. They've recently added morning classes so, there's more slots to choose from. Plus: free parking, so it's very convenient.... (Show more)

It was challenging for me to search for a yoga studio offering classes during the pandemic. I am not a beginner but I am no expert as well, so enrolling in Surya's Yoga Foundations classes every Saturday with Teacher Kai was a perfect choice to jump start my practice again. The studio is not air-conditioned but it feels safer (Covid-wise). The facilities are clean, the classes aren't crowded, and the people are friendly. Looking forward to attending more classes in 2023!... (Show more)

I can't believe they charge 550php for a class in a studio with no air con! The class could have been good but was ruined by being so disgustingly hot! The teacher opened the windows but this only meant we could hear traffic noise outside. Literally, holding a downdog was difficult has my hands and feet were slipping due to sweat, I noticed others had towels to combat this. I can't believe I paid so much for such an unpleasant experience.... (Show more)

Location is very accessible and venue itself is very clean and well-kept. Attended a Pilates class today and the instructor was plain amazing - very energetic and experienced. If you are looking for a Yoga place to go to, this is definitely a must-try!

This a serene an environment friendly (non-airconditioned) yoga place. The instructors are well trained and will help you with your yoga poses. I love that they do not have that much students, thus more personalized attention is given to each one. They end every session with a hot tea and a cold towel for refreshment.... (Show more)

This is a great place to practice yoga and pilates. I like that their instructors are very friendly and they will really teach you. Beginners will feel welcome and at ease. The place is very cozy and I love the fact that you can open the doors to let air in - with the noise of Makati but it is not hard to block it off. If the noise is a pet peeve that makes concentrating difficult, you can attend morning classes instead. The doors are sliding glass so the studio is naturally lit. Check out their website and make sure to arrive early to get a good spot for your mat.... (Show more)

A few minutes of yoga during the day can be a great way to get rid of stress that accumulates daily - in both the body and mind. I highly recommend this yoga studio!

This is the studio that helps you realize and achieve your goals. The classes are great for all levels of practitioners. The teachers are all great and experience. They help motivate their studies to elevate their practice.

I like that the studio is well ventilated with natural air and supplied by natural light. There are no mirrors (only glass panels to check our posture) so students wont be concious of other people. Teacher Joy reminded us that we shouln't mind anything else but our own practice. After the 1.5hours of yoga, she even offered to help me with the poses which prevents my back pain. She's super nice. It's almost like a personal session! I love it.... (Show more)

Ms Joy Andres

Joy Andres was clueless about yoga until she started to practice Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga back in 2008. Some teachers who inspired joy to teach are Ganesh Upadyay, Tesa Celdran and Joelle Goudsmit and that very year, she went for her teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram in India. Upon returning, she immediately began to teach Hatha and Power Yoga classes.
