Thomson Fertility Centre

Hi all, Am writing this review to warn couples not to head to Thomson Fertility Centre at Paragon Medical Centre should you want to couples intend to attempt IVF. My husband and myself, Singaporean Indians both born and bred here saw Dr Janice Tung. The whole experience at the clinic was horrible. We felt more like criminals with the questions asked. Here one Is seeking medical advice in hopes to conceive a child. All you get is negative remarks. She stated blatantly its a 10% chance. They just harp on cost of the treatment. I thought a private practice well known might be good. Other private practitioners will be better. On another note, pdpa, a Singapore rule is not adhered too in this clinic. It was asked to email both our NRIC. The admin staff too , some pinoy lady too seemed racist. It caters to China Chinese. Worst experience that might even break couples up with a so called lady doctor. Dr Janice is also at O&G specialist Centre. It's not to ruin a person's ricebowl but I believe there are other couples too searching for specialist to have means to have a child. It's nor a good place. Horrible encounter, horrible staff. ... Horrible experience. Lack of communication between TFC and O&G specialist clinic has inconvenienced me multiple times. I was notified on Saturday afternoon that I had to sign a consent form before my Tuesday procedure with them, hence I had to take last minute leave from work on Monday to do it. Monday night, they called me to do blood test as the results from a previous blood test I had sent since the week before were incomplete. Why wasn’t this checked earlier? They could also have given a clear checklist of things to do for the patients and timeline but they did not. I had to rush to Thomson medical because of their oversight to meet their needs. Staff is very professional and friendly. Appointment scheduled started on time too. Easy to make appointments.

My wife and I have felt expertly well-taken care of from the very 1st consultation with Dr SF Loh and his team of nurses and support staff. Everyone has been really professional, amiable and attended to our needs with a smile always. Dr Loh came across every time confident, reassuring and positive.

Worst schedule time management for appointments, always late and they don't even care. Expensive fees and no respect for people/patients' time. Most of times is at least 45 mins delay. Tired of complaining to helpless staff.

Staff were very professional and circumspect. No awkward moments here as they are well trained and polite

One of the busiest Saturdays I have seen but kudos to the team for ensuring a smooth sailing process today. Good Job :)

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Each & every single time I’ve come for my appointment, it’s ALWAYS delayed by at least an hour. What’s the point of having an appointment if you cant adhere to the timing? Came here multiple times, got asked previously if we were okay to let our seat up to someone else. Today, 9th December, a couple made noise because they couldn’t wait any longer, staff attending to them, went in the room to tell the other staff that they couldn’t handle them so they’ll have to let them be next in line. Came out, said to the couple they will most likely be next in line. (i was next btw), they did not bother to even check if we were okay to let up our seats to someone else & allowed them in because they were making a fuss. Should rly improve on the service/waiting time & not just say “we’re understaffed”. If you know you don’t have enough staff working on that day, don’t take in that many appointment? 😃 Ps. My appointment was at 9.25am, we waited & left the clinic finally, at 12pm 🙂 How efficient & professional.... (Show more)

Dr. Janice and the clinic staff have been helpful and efficient. My wife and I are presently trying in progress as per Dr.’s prescriptions. I hope to write another review again after if good news. I’ll suggest couples who DIY by research, to see a fertility doctor instead. We have learned many topics about fertility health that we weren’t aware of.... (Show more)
