My husband was diagnosed with azoospermia and his HMO urologist suggested mTESE for IVF. We wanted second opinion so we sought out for Dr. Turek’s consultation. He recommended sperm mapping to understand the global sperm production with minor invasion. My husband was also diagnosed with grade 2 varicocele. Since donor sperm was out of the picture, we decided to move forward with sperm mapping and might as well get the varicocele fixed. There was no complication from the procedures. We received the mapping results after about 3 months and Dr. Turek found sperms in all sites with low production. He believed the varicocele correction will help and recommended us trying to conceive naturally. I honestly thought it was a long shot, but I found out I got pregnant in that cycle. It was only 4 months after varicocele correction. Coming from having no hope in having children to conceiving naturally, I really appreciate Dr. Turek’s help with building our family. Dr. Turek is very knowledgeable and he knows what he’s doing. His staff is great too. I highly recommend Dr. Turek if you receive the daunting diagnosis of azoospermia.... (Show more)
Rates are much higher than usual and customary for the type of service provided. Time spent with Dr Turek was very short despite charge for full hour. Had to be referred out for services anyways so really just a waste of money.
I just had my first appointment with Dr. Turek and I must say that I was very satisfied. Dr. Turek is very personable and was attentive to my issues and concerns. He was punctual and spent a lot of time with me to make sure that I had the best treatment. One of the best doctors that I have been to and I have been to a lot in my lifetime. I have never felt this good before! After speaking with Dr Turek, it was like all my problems has been resolved because he knows what he is talking about and very knowledgeable about the human reproductive system.
