I noted right shin was tight. I can walk pain free for now thanks to those magic fingers. Wish I could go once per month

Expensive but needs an upgrade in the offer of amenities. Steam sauna is great, but they could use more hot therapy rooms. Service options that are nice but discourage repeat visits because it's very pricey.

I would have give -100 review if possible. The environment was great but not the service. I got my hair done and asked for caramel balayage. They booked me in for 4:30pm and i was right on time. Hair colourist was on training and did my color. She ruined my hair. She did everything in hurry because they were closing at 8 . I mean you shouldnt have book me in at first then. I wouldn’t be so disappointed if she didnt argue and agree to fix the hair. I clearly told i wanted caramel balayage she did something more blonde. And customer service is terrible. She said, “Ok, my mentor and I thought that was caramel but different people see things differently”. I still talked nicely and she cant do anything till march!!! Terrible experience!! The professional from other salon texted, “ Your colour needs to be filled and toned to a darker level. Your hair was over lightened to a point where the pigment for a caramel-brown tone wouldn’t have anything to stick to. You need the warmth put back in. Their placement of the lightener also shows that they only did half your head and the bottom was left out. I’m sorry this happened to you”... (Show more)

My massage started with being questioned about my WCB/ICBC cases and I was just trying to use a gift that was given to me for a non RMT massage. I felt harassed about my situation and then my stress levels got jacked up. Then I had to sign a parental guidance form???? With some sort of quotation showing I acknowledged it wasn’t RMT? Obviously it’s not RMT if I booked a NON RMT massage. Additionally my massage was 5 min less than what I paid for. Then I saw someone filling up Jergens hand soap in an aromatherapy bottle that created a rash on my hands…..? Is this false advertising products even allowed? Way overpriced. The massage felt more like a relaxation type massage instead of an rmt type, targeted massage. I did not want to criticize the massage during the massage because the rmt was friendly and seemed like a nice person, plus it is not my style to do so during the service. It felt nice but it did not hit the spot for me. This massage doesn't compare with my regular massage place. The lounge area is unnecessarily large. My guess is that the cost of services is expensive because of all this wasted real estate. The lounge is like a small to medium sized restaurant and could fit at least 20 people in it. The refreshments are all sweets, the only healthy snack were some plain almonds and prunes. There is 1 small steam room, 2 small private showers, 2 toilets and 2 small change rooms. Not enough room to put my belongings on. The shampoo and conditioner felt like hotel quality (not great). I brought my own face and hair products but there was just no room to put all my things. Felt like i had to rush to use the steam room and rush to shower because other clients were arriving. I came out of the shower using body wash on my face, didn't get a chance to moisturize my face because I had to touch door handles (shower room and change room) I didn't want those door germs on my face. In the locker room there is only 1 small bench in the middle to put your things on and with multiple clients it's not a very functional space. Unfortunately my experience here was mediocre at best, glad I got to experience it but I will not be back for services. While I was paying, the tip option prompted me TWICE. Once on their screen and once again on the machine. From experience you should not be tipping your RMT, that's like tipping your dentist, chiro or physio. The massage was only 50 minutes and the price with tax was $198.45 (and no tip) so definitely NOT worth it. Several hours later now and my neck and upper back feels like it did yesterday. Not much of a relief. On the receipt the duration says 60 minutes, not sure where the extra 10 came from? Lounging? Showering or using the steam room? I left 1 star mainly because this massage was over priced, not because of the less than mediocre massage. I'd give the massage itself a 2 out of 5 because the rmt didn't work on pinpointing the spots I needed work on. Thanks for the experience. I scheduled my service online for a Saturday, opting for a 50-minute Swedish massage at the listed price of $154. However, when I went to pay, I was surprised to learn about an additional charge for weekends. When I inquired about the rationale behind this increase, I was told it was simply their weekend rate, with no added benefits provided. I pointed out the lack of clarity about weekday and weekend pricing on their website and emphasized the importance of transparent pricing. In my view, Spa Utopia's practice seems unfair, particularly for customers constrained to booking on weekends due to weekday work commitments. No one should face a penalty for scheduling on weekends. This is such an elegant, relaxing experience from the steam rooms to the lounge to the luxury beds in the beautiful rooms. If you want to feel decadent, this is the experience you should go for! And they have RMTs so you get part of the $ reimbursed!

I enjoyed my entire Spa Utopia visit. The moment I arrived I was greeted warmly, givien tour of the facility and relaxed with a 75 minute massage. Atfterwards, I took my time elaxing in the lounging area with cucumber water, banana bread and a gorgeous view, I loved every minute!

The most relaxing place for massage. Love everything about Spa Utopia. Staff are always welcoming. The building is beautiful.

I visited the Center, and it was exceptionally clean. The staff was welcoming and had a great attitude. The massage I received was perfect, and I'm truly grateful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to feel better and improve their health with their outstanding massages. The pricing is both valuable and reasonable. My friend and I had the most amazing experience today. Mel D is one of the most amazing Masseus. I’m very picky and have had many massages. I found an amazing masseuse about 7 years ago and see him at least once a month and didn’t think I would consider anyone else but Mel D would be the other masseuse I would love to go see. Following the disappointing experience at Spa Utopia in North Vancouver, the spa manager, Diane Yarnold was in touch with me to explain some of the changes as well as offered me another body scrub with another spa specialist which I plan to hopefully enjoy on my birthday. This prompt response to correct the dissatisfaction has made be feel like a valued patron of the spa and I appreciate it very much.
