Slimmers World Pasay Road

I was given to understand that when you're an elite member you can go to other elite clubs but when I went here I was denied. I'm only here because Anytime fitness is still fixing their branch at SM north. I really don't recommend it here this was first subscription gym, but I was constantly marketed while I was lifting, that was last year and ever since my exp is so much better in anytime fitness, trust me the extra cost of AF is so much worth it compared to here, the equipment is also better.... I’ve been going to the gym since 2003 with Fitness First (FF). Subsequently, FF closed down their Megamall branch and was forced to try Slimmers. I have the worst experience since 2003. The freaking music is so loud to the point that I can no longer hear my own music (Airpod Pro with noise cancellation) in maximum volume. You can feel the vibration on the handle of the exercise machine. I have raised this several times but it was ignored. There is a feeling in the air that the workers here are the owners of the gym and that I don’t have the right to complain because they own the freaking place. I requested for a refund because I could lose my hearing if I continue to workout here due to massive sound in the premises, but its a big N and a big O. I have messaged the owner, Ms. Desiree Moy, already. I hope this will be resolved ASAP. As much as possible I don’t want to avail legal remedies just to recover the money that I paid. I believe this branch was recently renovated and upgraded as one of the "Elite" clubs. The place is probably not their biggest so this can get crowded on a usual day but during pandemic, not much people visit. All health protocols are strictly observed and pre-booking is required. Unfortunately due to IATF guidelines, lockers, showers, and steam bath are not available. GX classes are also suspended. Facilities-wise, all equipments look brand-new and not yet worn out -- probably due to the recent upgrade. Compared to FF and AF, I got a very good rate here especially nowadays that all gyms are only providing limited services/facilities. Look for Ms Janet for huge discounts and freebies.... (Show more)
