First time I was there. Beautiful store, but wow, what an unfriendly approach by the employee(s). Never experienced anything like this in a store before. Next time I'll travel to the beehive again. I have better experiences and better help :). Explanation: The woman who helped me choose the right foundation color was extremely unfriendly. She had chosen a color that was just oompaloompa orange for me. When I indicated that I had doubts about the color, she was very rude and thought it was strange. Finally I got a tester of that color, and off she went. Then I tested some colors myself and found a color that seemed better to me. I asked another employee to take a look and she also thought the first color was not right at all and thought the one I had selected was better. I asked her if I could have a new tester and that was no problem. I also offered to give the other tester back, but that wasn't necessary. Then that rude woman came and “tapped me on the knuckles” that I was only allowed 1 tester. All very strange. I don't come here to steal free testers, but to get help finding a good color before I buy more than $100 worth of foundation from them.... (Show more)

Come one come all. Skins cosmetics really variety of affordable skin products,and so pleasing customer care. I really love their products because they make my skin look alike.

I like coming to Skins in Amsterdam. Was away for a weekend in Groningen and wanted to buy a perfume. When I entered, the saleswomen had difficulty saying hello and I was completely ignored. No one asked if they could help me. A customer came in after me and was immediately greeted warmly and asked how they could help him. He was looking for a product that is not for sale in the store and the employees helped him find the store where he could get it. Such bad service, never coming back here again!... (Show more)

Nice store, but the range is slightly behind compared to the west.

Fantastic scents, unfortunately the experience of finding the right scent is ruined by the haughty behavior of the sales employee. Very unfortunate, but I will never come here again

The right address for perfume lovers! They have a more exclusive range of perfumes that you wouldn't find in the average store. Very nice, light and sleekly decorated store. We received good help when we asked about a perfume that was available on the site but not at the location. They were able to arrange for us to have the perfume delivered straight to our home or to the store. The saleswoman was friendly and gave us two more testers that we could choose ourselves.... Went there for a 60-min Susanne Kaufman facial and I enjoyed it! Mariet was lovely! I'd definitely go back for the facials. Highly recommended.

Nice perfume for sale

Received a voucher for a pedicure and facial. Made an appointment and an hour and a half in advance the appointment was canceled by Skins due to personal circumstances of a staff member. I did not see the receipt again after that day, and on the day of the new appointment I could no longer find the receipt. As soon as I am aware of this, I call to ask whether a copy of purchase is sufficient, to which I receive the answer that it is not. I then indicate that I want to cancel the appointment, after which I receive the answer that it is not their fault that I have lost the receipt, but that time has been booked that must be paid.
