Parkland Dental Centre (Atlantic Dentist)

Dr. Hamlyn is truly a horrible dentist that should never be allowed near a patient. She refused to provide me with any care, accused me of abusing a prescription even though the recommended dose equaled what had been used, and in general is unprofessional and is only looking for financial gain.

My daughter is suffering because they took 6 months of are time sending her to another dentist just for them to do nothing as well she is in so mich pain and starting to snore and cry everyday she can hardly eat they want to send her to the iwk but when i called about the referral it wasnt even sent yet it was over a week later that referral should have taken 2 seconds to send off then when we called them about it they said they would call us back the next day but they never did now ill be taking my daughter to the iwk emergency just to see if i can get things pushed because we have had enough of this... This office is very unprofessional and unorganized. Mainly due to the office manager, Cathy. I strongly feel that I was subject to discrimination by her based on my ethnicity. Terrible!! Isn't this 2023?? The actual dentists and staff are quite nice. But if you want anything done promptly or efficiently at a reasonable cost, go elsewhere. Also, be prepared for them (Cathy) to try and bully you into expensive costs, and pay out of pocket instead of direct billing to your insurance. We're all so rich - we can wait to be reimbursed!? Two appointments at the dentist were canceled. The first meeting was canceled 30 minutes before the meeting, the second one hour before the meeting. Not very nice

I've been going there for 20 years. Went to get some work done by a different dentist than usual, he didn't do what I needed done then over billed me and put it to collections over 80$ after spending thousands over the years of going there. Great as always very attentive and caring ! Dr Carr was a joy she makes the procedure seem effortless!

Dr Carr and her assistant Heather always make you so comfortable with friendly conversations. They are both attentive when I am asking questions. The office is very friendly and the waiting area is comfortable. It feels like I am visiting friends. I have been a patient of Dr Carr's for 20+ years.

Everyone is very professional and personable. I've been going there for 30 or so years and have always been well served.

I appreciate very much the dental service I received on my last appointment, great as always , sometjng you v=can count on and need to have in those hard times dealing with COVID and other news.

As always, Dr. Carr proceeeds with gentle care, addressing the problem and involvimg me in any decisions to be made..

Great place for all of your dental needs. Dentists and hygienists are excellent. Great customer service and staff are very professional. If you are looking for a new dentist this is a great place to start looking.

Dr Car has been my dentist since I was a child. Now that I have a young daughter she has started seeing Dr Car. Dr Car is probably one of the most amazing woman i’ve ever known, and an amazing dentist. She makes me feel very calm and at ease when I bring my young child in to see her.
