Disappointing Experience I visited yesterday on 30th of January to speak with a GP that could help with an ear issue I’ve been dealing with after Covid + Fever/Fatigue issues. Dr.Martin was a very nice man who means well and takes the time to listen to the issue. I provided full context of the lead-up to the issue, which he appreciated. However, I don’t believe I received the appropriate medical care I expected. Not only was it completely mis-diagnosed, but he prescribed me something that wasn’t needed. In addition, some of the questioning felt a bit invasive & personal which in my opinion has nothing to do with an ear infection issue. While I can respect a Doctor’s need to be thorough and understand a patient, it became evident that this visit was not going to lead to a decent outcome. This was one of the more odd experiences I’ve had to pay for with regards to a Doctor consultation and don't feel this was worth the cost. While he was a nice friendly Doctor, he didn’t do his job properly (in my opinion). On gut instinct, I sought out an ENT specialist in Marbella today who clearly understood the issue much better and verified that Dr.Martin not only mis-diagnosed, but was inaccurate in his assessment. This frustrated me. I expected better medical care based on the reviews I read here on Google. However, most of them reviews appear to be based on Dr.Crichton-Smith. A lovely facility with a welcoming reception & staff. My Dr was thorough & truly cared for my well-being throughout the 30minutes time I had booked. In a world where it is hard to find good Dr’s, I’m glad I found this place & will definitely be using their services again when needed. Highly recommend!... (Show more)

I visited Dr Martin Heidemann and was very happy with my experience. He was through and acommodating with my issues. You can tell he is a very experienced doctor who loves his practice and I can highly recommend him to anyone in need of medical care.

I recently visited Dr. Crichton-Smith at the Atlantic Clinic for advice on vaccinations for traveling, and I cannot speak highly enough about the service provided during my consultation and by the lovely staff at the clinic. He took the time to assess my medical history and specific health needs before recommending the appropriate vaccinations. His professionalism made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. A verry good sevice !! I got help althaugh it was a Fiesta day ! The doctor came to the clinic to see me . Good meeting , helpful ! I really recomnand this clinic to Anyone .

My partner and I saw Dr Anthony Chricton-Smith for treatment. He was extremely professional and easy to deal with. Making an appointment was easy and done online and we managed to get one quickly. I called the clinic at 10.30am to enquire for an appointment. The very pleasant receptionist took all information and gave me a 1.30pm appointment today. Thank you Dr Crichton Smith for a quick diagnosis and expert attention. I thoroughly recommend Atlantic Clinic .

I really can’t recommend Atlantic Clinic enough; it has been a first-class service, from our initial call to actual treatment and then the aftercare. Such helpful staff and so efficient. I am on holidays from Ireland with my young family, and slipped a disc in my back on the morning that we were due to fly home. Dr Crichton-Smith was absolutely amazing, he came out almost immediately for a home visit as I couldn’t get out of bed. He did a thorough review of my symptoms and the medication he prescribed has been very effective. I obviously wasn’t able to fly home but Dr Crichton-Smith has been so attentive, with another home visit to check up on me and regular contact on WhatsApp to check in and provide advice and answer any queries I’ve had. No-one wants to experience ill health when away from home, but the service from Atlantic Clinic has been so reassuring and has helped to reduce our stress in a very challenging situation.... Highly overpriced service. They charge almost double or triple for tests that you can order yourself from Synlab (they have small clinics and blood drawing facilities across Marbella). 70 eur for ECG (25 eur in my home country). I never received the results of my urine test after paying 260 eur in total for the visit plus tests. The doctor never checked my nose and sinuses which was one of my main complaint. Could have ordered the Mens Health package analysis from Synlab for 45 eur and gotten much more comprehensive set of tests. Synlab has also much nicer modern facilities and the clinic sends the samples to Synlab anyway. If you need recommendations from doctor about which tests to order, it is fine to pay for appointment but avoid overpaying for the tests and just go to Synlab directly.... (Show more)
