Dear MVZ Dortmund team, My husband and I were at your home for another appointment today. We can already say that we feel very well looked after and cared for. The reception staff have always been very friendly and understanding with us and have responded very helpfully to telephone queries. Also the doctor Ms. Dr. Kazazi makes a competent and equally human impression on us. What we particularly like about the doctor is her open, friendly manner and her clear, understandable words, explanations and assessments. Not to be forgotten are the other medical assistants who take blood and assist with the necessary examinations, because they also round off the previous positive overall impression with their caring treatment of us as patients.🩷 We hope that this great impression will continue to accompany us and that the positive start will be a good sign of a hopefully successful treatment.🙏 So far, a big thank you to the entire team.🫶... The friendly staff. Unfortunately the doctor wasn't friendly and we didn't do anything, just wasted time even though we had the opportunity to do so. I'm sorry! The doctor wasn't careful. Negative experience. 😔😔 …

We started Christmas. They stalled with us until January. We brought cryo sperm from the University Hospital of Münster to Dortmund. They then punctured 9 eggs. Nothing was fertilized. I said if you could please check all the sperm because it was our last attempt and get the best out of it. No, only 2 bouquets out of 60 were used and none were fertilized. It all started so incompetently, you have 0 empathy. Now I sit here and cry that I wasted my last chance with you.... (Show more)

Unfortunately, men are not treated here, so we did two icsis completely free of charge... If we had known this beforehand, we would have saved ourselves the trouble. In addition, the head doctor was not willing to talk to us about it. Answer: After your answer, I contacted the clinic on the same day. To date no one has responded, what's the point of this? Do you want to talk to me now or not?... (Show more)

Hello, You write that men are not treated here. That is not right. Fertility therapy is a couples treatment; it doesn't work without the male part. It is true that men with complete azoospermia (absence of sperm) and a negative TESE (no sperm in the testicular biopsy) cannot be helped - except through sperm donation. But then no ICSIs would have been carried out. All in all, your review makes no sense without further background information. It would be nice if you could expand on this a bit more. We are always happy to discuss difficult cases. So feel free to contact us again. Best regards Your team from the Dortmund Fertility Center

...the “doctor” talked a bit about the facts of life and how she wanted to be honest with me but she wasn’t empathetic! It's a sensitive topic anyway, but she certainly had no idea about empathy! The first phone call was OK, I wasn't really informed, I was told that the costs would be covered by the health insurance... It was only during the conversation that it became clear that this was about the blood sample and the conversation. The costs were not explained until much later. I felt neither enlightened, cared for, understood nor respected. I do not recommend this institute!... (Show more)

I thought for a long time whether I would leave a review because unfortunately I didn't have a good experience in the clinic and it took me a long time to understand the whole thing! I regret wasting 2 attempts there!!! I can't say anything bad about the reception, they were always very friendly to me. The doctors were actually nice, but you could tell that one or two of them were very brief, so that sometimes you didn't dare to ask any more questions. Point 1, which didn't work at all... blood was taken regularly. I assumed that if something was suspicious, I would be told. I went there with a well-adjusted TSH value and during the treatment the value exploded. Sometime shortly before Christmas 2022 I asked what my values were? I then found out for the first time that the TSH value was over 4 and that I should go to my doctor so that they could adjust my tablets... In the clinic they couldn't tell me how much I should increase the dose or anything like that. point 2, On the second attempt they briefly mentioned that I had fluid in my left. I have fallopian tubes and that you can try to puncture the fluid during the puncture, but nothing more was said about it after that, so I assumed it wasn't bad. On the day of the puncture they said that everything was going great, but unfortunately they couldn't puncture the fluid!!! I wasn't informed about what this means or what options we have or anything like that. On the day of the transfer, after the treatment was completed, I was told: "Oh well, if it doesn't work again now, she would recommend that I get in touch with my former surgeon to discuss whether the fallopian tube should be surgically removed."... Oh, okay. I asked her if it was a problem because of the liquid? She said no, not at first, but the fluid can run back into the uterus and this can prevent implantation... so it's bad after all!!! Why wasn't I told this before the transfer? You could also have frozen the egg, etc... In the clinic where I went afterwards, they would definitely have recommended that I NOT have it inserted like this!!! When the call came that unfortunately it hadn't worked again, the doctor couldn't give me an answer as to why I wasn't informed, etc. I also found out that I also had fluid in my fallopian tube on the first attempt, but they hadn't said anything yet because it was probably a suspected diagnosis 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️... Afterwards I went to Marien Hospital, had an MRI etc. and everything was fine. They didn't understand why they didn't wait for the next cycle!!! After I changed clinics, I was completely turned upside down. They also did a hysteroscopy in advance (which in Dortmund is only done after the 3rd attempt) In the new clinic I had a different therapy... I had fluid in my fallopian tube again, but it could be punctured there without any problems 🤷‍♀️ They didn't understand what the problem was in Dortmund because they had no problem getting to the fallopian tube... And lo and behold, it worked. I will be a mother for the first time in February. I'm so glad I didn't give up and change clinics. Unfortunately, I already know a few women who haven't had good experiences in Dortmund... (Show more)

My husband and I have just completed our first cycle of IUI treatment and are waiting for the test. And regardless of whether it is successful or we start another attempt, I can only report that everyone across the board is friendly, kind and competent. We always felt like we were in good hands, questions were answered and everyone was sensitive and treated us without prejudice. You're doing a great job 😉 thank you very much for that.... We always felt well advised and supported. We first tried the easy version. Unfortunately it didn't work twice. In 2014 we had our first and last ICSI. Fortunately, this was directly positive. Our daughter is now 8.5 years old. Thank you for our greatest miracle.

Our treatment at the fertility center was truly amazing! Our doctor Mr. Rigas is a fantastic doctor. He was always on our side and ready to respond to all of our questions. The positive result came really early, after our first treatment! Thank you for this Christmas present. Best regards

We received great help. The doctors are very nice. With the help of the clinic I became pregnant twice. My first child was born healthy in July 2020 and my twins will be born on September 30th. I'm glad I took this step, even though it's a lot of stress for a woman.

Dear fertility team, This morning I had my first puncture and I have to say I received a really warm welcome. The doctors and medical specialists are super accommodating and listen to how you are doing. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly. Unfortunately, the unfriendly (external) anesthetist made me feel quite uncomfortable because he gave me the feeling that I should go through the puncture at any moment without anesthesia... He came across as very annoyed because my veins weren't really cooperating. If it hadn't been for the doctor and the empathetic medical staff who encouraged me that we could do this, I think I would have jumped up and stopped the puncture immediately. But big praise to the team in the operating room, I would recommend them wholeheartedly. They work in an appreciative manner, just as I would have hoped as a patient. Thank you... (Show more)

Review from my wife and I: Great doctor, thank you Dr. New, you have fulfilled our heart's desire My husband and I are doctors ourselves and sought treatment from Dr. for our first ICSI. Newly issued. He had our complete trust straight away and gave us great advice. .. after that everything happened very quickly .. The appointment was made quickly. He carried out the puncture himself and I had “zero” pain. Dr. Neuer's assessments were always correct... and what can I say... I can hardly believe it, but I'm pregnant - right after the first ICSI. Thank you Dr. Newer... (Show more)
