Dr Lim Thung Kiat
Comes with impressive credentials, qualifications and expertise in ophthalmologic disciplines. He graduated with an M.B.B.S. from the University of Singapore on an ASEAN scholarship, and obtained his FRCS and RCPS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, after which he was appointed Honorary Registrar at the Moorfield Eye Hospital. From 1979 until 1982, he worked under Dr. D.P. Choyce, one of the world expert in intraocular lens implantations. Dr. Lim is also a member of the Malaysian Academy of Medicine, and was formerly a consultant in ophthalmology at University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Apart from this Dr. Limβs many accolades and accomplishments also includes a host of first-time achievements such as: 1993 to introduce PRK in Malaysia. 1997 to introduce LASIK in Malaysia. 2000 to introduce SRP or Surgical Reversal of Presbyopia in Malaysia. 2000 to introduce Customised LASIK or Eagle Eye Vision in Malaysia. 2001 to introduce LASER PHACO Cataract Surgery in Malaysia and South East Asia. He has been doing sutureless cataract surgery since 1993 and using multifocal intraocular lens since 1992. 2mm micro incision cataract surgery (MICS) was performed by Dr. Lim in 2003 and by 2007 he improved to 1.7mm micro incision cataract surgery.
My dad underwent an eye surgery with Dr Sree Kumar at Sunway Medical. We appreciated the time and effort taken by Dr Sree in explaining things in detail and professional. Excellent service for the crew and the doctor. Their follow up-service is quite good, eventhough 1st day surgery, night time they will follow up with your eye condition to ensure your eyes are in good health. I definitely will recommend my friend whos want to do lasik or Smile surgery to come here.

Went to see Dr Sree Kumar couple of times. Dr Kumar very professional and well explained my problems. Dr Kumar also put him self on the patient's shoe as he told what is the alternative treatment to lowering down the treatment cost. The centre well organised and clean. All the nurses and staffs are friendly. I feel very comfortable with the service from registration to payment. I can't believe being a reputable hospital, the hospital lost my medical record. This was not my first encounter. I came in Oct 2022 and when I follow up in Jan my record was not found. Today after 3x I came for follow up, the hospital can't find my medical record again. Seriously? For that my que was jumped. I was no. 1 here. What the heck?!... (Show more)
Absolutely no regard for patient privacy or respect. Each consultation room door was open with patients seeking treatment inside. My 15 month old son was shifted between two rooms, one for consultation, one for testing, before receiving eye drops in the general waiting room with other waiting patients.... (Show more)
My eyes was treated by Dr Peh Khaik Kee since last year, top notch service and highly professional. His assistant Ms Lithiya is very patient and polite all time. Overall experience is great with them.
