Dr Kevin Alexander
Dr Kevin Alexander is a qualified medical doctor, who graduated from the Medical School of the University of The Witwatersrand , Johannesburg, in 1988. He has an intense interest in the subject of hair loss, and has travelled extensively to pursue this interest. He has been treating hair loss successfully in both men and women for more than ten years now, using prescription-only, scientifically-proven medication, specific for the different causes of hair loss. He is only interested in using medicines on his patients which have a sound scientific basis, which have been thoroughly tested in Clinical trials worldwide, and which have been proven to be effective and to be safe to use. Certain of the medicines which he uses are gender-specific. Upon closure of the Alopecia Clinic in 1993, all Alopecia Clinic patient files were transferred to Dr Alexander's practice. In 1998, Dr Alexander opened his Hair Loss Clinic, to run side-by-side with his general medical practice in Johannesburg. Dr Alexander's Hair Loss Clinic has been a great success due to its outstanding results and it has gone from strength to strength. Patients from all corners of the world have made the journey to Johannesburg to consult with Dr Alexander. Dr Alexander is presently mailing his medicines to patients with whom he has consulted in even the most remote parts of South Africa. Dr Alexander's patients range from young children through to the very elderly, and he treats men and women in equal proportion. Hair Loss occurs in all populations, and so Dr Alexander treats patients from every racial group.
I have taken a year to rate Dr Alexander as I needed to be certain that the products and treatment work. And it does 🤗 I have experienced thinning and balding of my curly hair over the years. I have left a review elsewhere but I owe it to Dr Kevin Alexander to repeat a review. Due to a stressful situation at the beginning of March 2022, I started Dr Alexander's hair restoration treatment in May 2022. It involves applying various liquids morning and night as well as vitamins after breakfast, quite a lot of discipline to stick to the program but here I am in February 2023 with my hair SO much improved. One feels very self-conscious when people can see through one's hair to the scalp. The latest photos show a full head of hair. One has to continue with the Minoxidil indefinitely but it is so worthwhile. I can thoroughly recommend Dr Alexander's hair restoration program which he has fine tuned over the years. I have been to other hair institutes. I was truelly dissappointed and ended up wasting a lot of money. Then one day I saw Dr Alexander's profile come up on my search in desperation to find proper help. He is God sent. The journey of my life changing experience began. My hair started looking better, no bald spots. The excess falling has stopped. I started seeing results within 6 months of treatment. Excellent treatment and results
After a stressful few years of balding I found Dr Alexander online and though am not done with my treatment, I am already happy with the progress
I have natural, fine, curly hair (3c / 3b texture) I experienced severe thinning and balding along my hairline to the point that I felt embarrassed to tie my hair back. After 4 months on Dr Alexander's program my hairline has filled in and my hair density has increased tremendously. The program can seem overwhelming at first. I have a very busy work life and manage to stick to it. I actually enjoy the routine as a form of self care, especially since seeing results as early as two months. I was sceptical about washing my hair almost every day and concerned that my hair would dry out. I was wrong. My hair condition has actually improved. It's softer and more manageable. I was honestly scaptical about the treatment as I had tried all kinds of products in the market, that promised a difference in a few weeks 😳, yes not months!!!. I was so tired 😫 of these promises and had even cut my hair to keep it as a brush, so that no one would notice 😒 my non-existing hair line. I came across Dr Alexander Hair loss segment on "SAfm" Radio and decided try him out and fully imursed myself in the treatment and 4-months later 😀 my hairline is gradually coming back. 5 star review from me. I won’t reveal my name, but the Dr knows who I am. The point about his treatment is that you can’t be a 47 year old male (like me) and expect to look 21 again. You must have realistic expectations. I was receding badly in the front hairline area, and now have my hairline back (at least 80%). Also, any charlatan who doesn’t have minoxidil and finasteride in their treatment program for a male (like Dr A does) is having you on. PRP, laser therapy and saw palmetto DO NOT WORK. So don’t be fooled. I tried them all. Advanced Hair Studio, Life Hair Restoration Clinic. They did nothing. Go to Dr Alexander. He will give you proper MEDICAL advice. I took the full treatment and I saw results within 5/6 months. You must adhere to the routine, but it soon becomes second nature. I can now dispense with some of the lotions. Very happy.
