Dr Paul Heijkoop
BDS, MDS (Endo), FRACDS, FPFA. He has been a Specialist Endodontist practicing in Adelaide since 1990. He has also been heavily involved in endodontic teaching at both the undergraduate and post-graduate level. He is a member of several endodontic societies, and has been the President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (SA Branch) and President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists. He has lectured on endodontic topics both locally and internationally and has been awarded a fellowship with the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is currently still teaching undergraduate and post-graduate students at the University of Adelaide while maintaining Private Specialist Practice.
Dr Daniel Farmer
BDS, MDS (Endo), FRACDS, FADI, FICD. He graduated from the University of Adelaide with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1993 and Masters of Dental Surgery (Endodontics) in 2001 and has been in specialist endodontic practice since this time. He gained fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (by examination) in 2003 and has since been awarded fellowship to the International College of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International. He has been a clinical lecturer and tutor in Endodontics at the Dental School, University of Adelaide, since 1996 at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level and currently holds the position of a Senior Visiting Consultant in Endodontics. He is a past state and federal president of the Australian Society of Endodontology. Dan has lectured both locally and nationally on his particular interest in Dental Trauma. In his spare time Dan enjoys playing tennis and golf when he is not playing taxi for his three daughters.
Dr Jonathan Christo
BDS, BScDent (hons), DClinDent. (Endo), FPFA. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and concurrent Bachelor of Science in Dentistry with first class honours from the University of Adelaide in 2005. Jonathan practiced general dentistry in a private dental practice in Hobart, before returning to Adelaide to complete his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics. He is a lecturer and clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide, as well as the coordinator of the undergraduate endodontic program. He is the President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (SA Branch), and is actively involved at a state and federal level within the Australian Dental Association. Jonathan is a reviewer for several dental journals and is a past examiner for the Australian Dental Council. Jonathan has also recently been awarded with a fellowship of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Away from dentistry, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 small children, and sharing good food with good friends.
Quentin knew exactly what was needed to fix all the dental work I required. He is extremely thorough and professional in all areas and was highly recommend by several other dentists that weren't able to help me. My teeth and my smile have never been as good as they are now. A big thank you to you and your team for making this stressful time so easy.
I went for a clean but before the appointment I started having really bad wisdom tooth pain. I was told that it was probably some food that had got stuck there, was given antibiotics 'just in case' and without an X ray was told that it could even wait till next year because the inflammation would go away. The dentist superficially cleaned the area with Savacol. After my appointment I got a quote for a deep clean and nothing else was mentioned about my wisdom tooth. It didn't feel right. Next day I was in more pain, went to a different practice and the area was all infected. They properly cleaned the area, which had to be numbed, there was a lot of pus and after that I was in excruciating pain. Also, the antibiotics I'd been given weren't the right ones. Now I'm scheduled for surgical extraction and I was told there was no way this could've waited. Shocking to thing that if I'd actually waited, it would've got a lot worse.... (Show more)
I went to Nicki today for an ongoing issue with a filling I got about 20 years ago. I went in thinking I was going to have to get the tooth extracted or recommended a crown or even a root canal. Nicki explain all of my options and was very supportive of all options. Nicki did a full filling and basically reconstructed my tooth. She did an amazing job. You can barely notice that half of my tooth is artificial. I am so so happy with the results Nicki is an amazing dentist. Not only did she do great dentistry work but she also made me feel so at ease. Explained every single thing she was going to do and was over all excellent. Great dental care
Quentin is not my usual dentist but he is hands down the best dentist I’ve been too! I visited him while travelling and he has done everything he can to make my RCT possible and easy! I honestly thinks if I need dentist work in the future I’d fly from anywhere in Australia to come up and see him! Thank you dr. Rahaus.
This dental practice is great. My little one is Autistic and saw Nikki Hutchison today and it was such a calming and positive experience for her. I am so grateful for the quality care she received. We will definitely recommend Grass Roots Dental.

If there was such a thing as painless dentistry you will find it here. Very professional and informative in all aspects of works being performed. I recommend wholeheartedly.
