Diabetic Retinopathy is a complication of diabetes that affects the eyes. It's caused by damage to the blood vessels in the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye (retina). The condition can progressively worsen and potentially lead to blindness. Treatment options include: Focal/Grid Laser Photocoagulation, Intravitreal Injections (Anti-VEGF agents or Corticosteroids), and Vitrectomy.
