My vein was huge! Dr.K took away my pain in my leg. And my varicose vein is gone. Friendly staff and great experience.

I have never written a negative review about a business in my life, but felt the need to warn anyone who was thinking of getting their veins on their face done here to not waste their money like I did. I was told it would take a maximum of 2 sessions to remove the veins under my eyes, and that the 2nd session would be half the price if it was needed. However, I eventually had to book a 4th session (been charged the same price for all 3) since there had been no change in the appearance of the veins under my eyes. Even more so, I had to call and cancel my 4th session (I did it 2 days in advance) since I got scheduled for work. The lady at the front desk then told me that because I did not cancel it they wouldn't book me again even though I have the evidence on my phone I had called and cancelled. Once again, I never thought I would be the type of person to write something negative about a business, but the way I have spent 1000$ + here and have had no results left me no other choice. Update - they somehow managed to get my review taken down, I have since went to a different clinic that managed to fix the veins under my eyes for way less than a 1000$!... (Show more)

I’d like to start this review by expressing how thrilled I am with my results. ( I tried posting this a few months ago but it didn't take so I’m trying it again now) Dr. Kritzinger and staff operate a well run office. I had varicose veins on both my legs that were getting worse over time. I experienced terrible muscle spasm in both legs. This pain was excruciating and despite many visits with my family doctor, nothing helped. Pain aside, I always felt very self-conscious of the appearance of my legs. I’m a very active person and enjoy summer activities which left me often embarrassed of the looks of my legs. I found York Vein Clinic during my research online and after reading the reviews I decided to make an appointment. On my first visit, I was examined, diagnosed, and explained everything in complete detail. Feeling very confident I decided to go ahead and book my EVLA vein treatment. All treatments went well and in a short time I started to see improvements. Also, most importantly, I never experienced a leg spasm again. I had a great experience at this clinic. I was very apprehensive to seek medical care for my veins, but am so happy I did. Dr Kritzinger explained all treatment options so well, and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. I will certainly be returning for any future treatments I may need as I have full trust in him and his clinic.
Love this place! Dr. Kritzinger and his staff (Sue and Melanie) are so knowledgeable and accommodating. I felt so comfortable and confident with each and every visit. Just had sclerotherapy done yesterday. Went earlier than my scheduled time and they took me in right away:) . It’s too early to tell now but in a couple of months the results will show.

I went to Dr Kritzinger for EVLA (Endovenous Laser Ablation) to remove some very large varicose veins in my left leg that was causing me a lot of adverse symptoms. Some of my symptoms were: a swollen ankle, bulging veins, skin redness & itchiness. My veins looked terrible and I felt very self-conscious and wouldn’t even wear shorts, which I can now do after my EVLA procedure!! The York Vein Clinic is a top professional medical facility with outstanding and up-to-date medical equipment that includes the latest ultrasound imaging machines that can look at your veins in real-time. Dr Kritzinger is very patient, knowledgeable, and explains the procedure in detail. This procedure was less painful than I anticipated. The follow-up was great as well. The administrative and medical staff were friendly, efficient, and very professional. My leg after EVLA has significantly improved. I love that I can wear shorts now and I don’t feel self-conscious at all and I feel happier both health-wise and aesthetically. I'm very happy to see my varicose veins completely gone, still have a little staining which I'm sure will dissolve before I have to place shorts on again. :) Dr. Kritzinger was very kind and explain everything in detail. Melanie and Sue on his team where also very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with them all. I did have some swelling about 4 months after my EVLA and did go to my local emergency department. Dr. Kritzinger provides his cell phone and he called right back to walk me through the process. Even the Emergency Doctor called him and spoke with Dr. Kritzinger as he said if he didn't speak to Dr. Kritzinger he would have prescribe me anticoagulants that I did not need. Dr. Kritzinger was a great help to me. I had these Varicose Veins since early adulthood and suffered symptoms this whole time. He and his staff are professional and empathetic and helped me immensely. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
I had surgery about a month ago and already notice a huge improvement in the appearance of my left leg. Looking forward to wearing shorts this summer for the first time in years. I am so so happy I discovered York vein clinic after not such a great experience in Barrie. I’m beyond delighted with the results already and it’s only been 3 weeks! Dr. Kritzinger, Melanie and Sue are awesome. My consultation with Dr. Kritzinger was so detailed and it turned out I didn’t need the laser treatment I was told I needed which saved me a lot of money. Dr. K and the team were amazing. Very knowledgeable and professional. I have been suffering with vericous veins for years now to the point where I couldn't get a good night's sleep.
