Dr Tan Shuh Chern
Dr. Tan Shuh Chern received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from the National University of Singapore in 1995. He spent his first year of government service with the School Dental Services and it was where he developed a flair for treating young children. Dr. Tan was then seconded to the Ministry of Defence as a dental officer and was awarded a commendation for his contribution in achieving the ISO certification for the SAF Medical Corps. After a few years of private practice, Dr. Tan left Singapore and practised in London for two years. As a strong believer in Life Long Learning, he was recognized by the General Dental Council of England for contributing to the promotion of Continuing Professional Development for Dentists. Dr. Tan was awarded the Master of Clinical Dentistry from the University of London in 2003. His special interests are in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Tan founded White Dental Group in 2003 with the practice philosophy of providing quality dental care with pride, honesty and integrity.
Dr Lo Tong Soon
Dr. Lo graduated from the National Universtiy of Singapore. He received numerous awards, amongst them, the University Silver Medal. He was also on the Dean’s List for several years. He served 2 years as a dental officer with the Ministry of Health and the Singapore Armed Forces. Dr. Lo pursued a 3-year graduate programme in Orthodontics under a National Dental Center Scholarship, and graduated with Masters of Dental surgery (Orthodontics) degree. He completed his Advanced Specialist Training and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Orthodontics). He is registered with Singapore Dental Council as a specialist in Orthodontics. Dr. Lo is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (Orthodontics), as well as a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He has previously served as an executive member of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) and is currently a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Singapore Dental Association. An Orthodontist with over ten years of dental experience, Dr. Lo’s interest lies in treatment involving combined Orthodontics and other disciplines in dentisty (e.g. Implants, Crowns, Orthognathic surgery).He has received further training in the use of lingual appliances, self ligating orthodontic appliances.,(eg. Damon, 3M Unitek Clarity SL/ Smartclip ) and mini implants. He is an accredited Invisalign provider.

She graduated at King’s College London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2001. She scored distinction in numerous subjects including Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry. She was also awarded the Maurice Kettle Orthodontic Prize.
Was attended by Dr Selina for my treatment. Extremely blessed and thankful for the elaborate explanation and meticulous cleaning that she has done for me. Very disappointed by the service provided. Had promised to email some documents but never did since morning,request agin said email never get through? Ok asked to WhatsApp but never send, called again to request yet given another excuse saying patient privacy????
Dr Selina is always meticulous, thorough and most of all caring for everyone who received her treatment making you feel comfortable and easy. Her pre-treatment analysis and feedback is extremely informative for us to note the proper method to take care of our dental health. I have been there today with Dr Cara Teo and I can't thank her (and her team) enough. So nice and competent. I'm usually afraid of dental clinics but I felt very comfortable there! And they helped me a lot because it was an emergency and they found a time slot to take care of me.
Went to White Dental today and was served by Dr. Soon. Most glad I went as her service was meticulous, diligent, thorough and patience. She was clear in explaining and showed me how to take better care on my teeth. There wasn't any intense or acute pain during the whole cleaning process....what a relief ! Best dental experience ever. Walked in at 09:00 with chipped tooth and walked out at 09:45 after fast and friendly professional treatment all at a very reasonable cost! Thanks to the whole staff!!
Dr Tan is very kind, professional and skilled in handling my tooth injury / fracture. Was so glad to have visited his clinic after a particularly harrowing experience at another clinic. Can’t be thankful enough to him and the team at White Dental. The staff is also very attentive and friendly! :)
