Absolutely useless. Communication skills at this Medial Centre are appalling. Call was received today, had no idea who it was from at the GP surgery....and was told it was to do with blood test results. Would have been nice to know which blood tests. In addition, part of a consultation is to discuss the results and any concerns that I may have. When I raised concerns over the the medication prescribed...they simply went "fine". That is NOT a consultation, they (using their expert knowledge) are meant to counter any concerns . This just typifies the lethargic , lack lustre service provided by people at this Medial Centre... Was told I would receive correspondence about getting x-rays taken, call was made on the 4th via phone, it's the 23rd and after calling everyday and being on hold upwards of an hour I finally get through to be told, no info was update and I was "told to come in for a consultation" when I've been looked at alread, when i needed transfer papers to go get xrays taken from buckland for a motorbike accident, how theyre still open is beyond me, switch doctors because I am.... I had recently became a patient required long term medication care. The diabetes clinic nurse in Whitecliff folkstone rd dover was very supportive and helpful. Thumb up for her haillie Mitchell . So as Mrs Jane Goddard who treated me was wonderful. For example Jane is working on Christmas day. I agreed the reception had a problem of forgetting to print my diabetes prescription, i can empathise other patients unhappiness. We are all humans. So let forgive and forget. Been waiting on hold for an hour and 30 minutes. Been waiting 3 years to be seen physically and have a referral done. Haven’t been seen. No referral. Appointment made at another practice that I’m unable to attend and won’t answer the phone to let me reschedule. Diabolical.

Booked a shingles jab at Folkestone Rd surgery had two reminders to attend. Went there this morning to be told that I was 6 weeks to old to have it just turned 66 in August. Nurse and the person who took the booking could have text me not to come. No preferred to give me a waisted journey. I would give this Doctors surgery no stars if I could. Most tragic gp ever leaves people having to que outside for an hour because they don’t take appointments and are walk-in only joke and receptionists are rude for no reason had the most pleasant and most understanding discussion until at the end of the phone call a comment was made saying it’s my problem I need to sort it out which wasn’t necessary so patronising and rude no sympathy or compassion just rude... I am very happy with the respect that I get for staff and doctors and the are very polite añd do a fantastic job

Ongoing issues with my health and Dr Jain is too busy to get back to me. Was told doctor Jain will give me a call back and he didn’t. This doctors surgery is so stretched and overused that they just can’t manage peoples health accordingly. Clearly have a poor reputation so take the 5 star reviews on this page with a pinch of salt, most of them left by google accounts with no other reviews. I would like to say however that Hayley is a real asset to this GP surgery, friendly, informative and super helpful. 5 stars for Hayley! 1 star for the practice and doctor Jain.... (Show more)

Excellent friendly helpful staff, being able to queue and see a doctor is the way as you cannot be ill to order.

I have shared my experience in a previous post. What I want to say is don’t just write a review but make a report to the Quality Care Commision who are charged with inspecting and rating this kind of medical facility. If you do not take action to stop this behavior then why bother leaving a review? The way the some medical staff treat clients is despicable, if clients say anything, they run the risk of being branded a nuisance. This branding is what allows some medical staff get away with it and so nothing improves. So take a little time please. To safeguard my health I have moved out of Kent. Believe me, there is a better way and someone needs to get this centre of dire consequences to give people the service they are there for. Despicable.... (Show more)

Excellent service throughout, the walk in surgery is so beneficial and would like to praise Hallie for being so helpful and efficient and nothing is too much trouble for her.

Incompetent. Put meds order in online a week ago. Went to collect and nothing. So talk to reception who say we can't repeat order we can order with her and doc sign off next day. . This was Monday. Went in today still no meds. Went back to reception. No one had put meds order in. So had to re order and have to wait till Monday to sign off so no meds til Wednesday. I have always found the staff both receptionists and doctors to be helpful. The walk in clinic is a bonus you might have to sit and wait for a couple of hours but you will be seen that day. Unlike other practices where it can take days/weeks for an appointment.
