Just completed my second round of braces (because I was too lazy to keep the retainers on. so please wear your retainers diligently). Dr Francis was always patient to explain the procedures required and never hard sell anything. He presents the pros and cons of each intervention and let the patient decide what's best for them. My whole braces journey with Dr Francis took close to 3 years. It costs about $8000+ (student price) including 2 upper wisdom tooth removal. Dr Francis always explains the problem and suggested solutions patiently. There will be a whatsapp reminder a few days before every consultation date to confirm the date and time. Any change in date and time of appointment will be communicated through whatsapp or phone calls. Dr is very cooperative and helpful should you need a change in schedule. Dr Lee has been consistently patient and meticulous throughout my five years of braces treatment. He readily explained the treatment progress and plans with me, is upfront about payments and packages, gives me time to consider treatment decisions that comes with additional fees (e.g., putting a screw in my mouth), and occasionally provides tips and suggestions to improve my teeth/gum/jaw issues. I've also had two of my wisdom teeth removed while wearing braces and did not feel any significant discomfort. Deciding to do my braces here was a worthwhile journey as I prioritize having nice looking teeth and an improved bite instead of rushing through the process (I took some time to adapt to seeing my teeth without braces cause it has been so long). I just removed my braces today!!! Dr. Francis was extremely patient throughout my close to 4 years braces journey. He puts in more effort than what is required, in order to make sure one obtains the best smile possible. He also ensures that you are comfortable with the recommendations made based on his expertise and is always open to the patient's point of view. My experience with Westfield Dental Surgery has been very pleasant ever since I started my braces journey 3 years ago. I just removed my braces 3 months back and I'm definitely happy and satisfied with the results. I remembered taking some time to find the right dental clinic. Though Westfield Dental Surgery quoted slightly higher than other dental clinics, they were quite accommodating on different installment plans. Moreover, Dr. Lee is friendly, very patient, meticulous and always tries his best to clearly explain before doing any procedure. Finally! My braces journey has ended, i am so happy with the result and Doc. Lee as well! My case was difficult, i remembered none of the doctor in my country willing to take my case. I lie if i am saying it was all smooth, there were times i wanted to give up, but seeing the result today, i am glad that i continued on until the end. Since i am a foreigner here, my days are numbered depending on my S PASS, i brought this to him, and he is very helpful, he concentrated on my case, and my appointment interval was made shorter. I would suggest to all who are currently still in the braces journey, Doc sometimes is stern, please don't take it too hard, this is for our good seriously, at the end of the treatment we will be thankful to him, just like me. Started my braces journey 3 years ago with Doctor Lee, and just had them removed a week ago, and i'm incredibly happy with the end result. Private orthodontists have a tendency to be pricier, but the overall experience does make a difference. I took awhile to choose an orthodontist due to uncertainty of how skilled and professional the clinic is. With Westfield Dental, after my first consultation with them, i knew I was going to get my braces done with Doctor Lee. Westfield Dental is extremely accommodating to their patients. Doctor Lee is very experienced. I extracted 8 teeth in one sitting (4 wisdom, 4 regular), and there was no swelling and discomfort after. He's also very patient and meticulous, often explaining the process and treatments, he is also very realistic in his assessments, which is something that i liked. Doctor Lee is also very cheerful and each appointment with him is a always a good experience. Overall, it has been a pleasant journey here. It was worth everything. Also big props to Nila, Doctor Lee's assistant/receptionist. I highly recommend Westfield Dental. I recently completed my braces journey with Francis. As an adult considering braces at my age, choosing an orthodontist was not easy because of the fear factor and more importantly, the skill and professionalism of the orthodontist. I considered a few options, including one or two general practice dentists (cheaper), before biting the bullet and coming to Francis's clinic. I felt absolutely secure to be under his professional care throughout my 2+ years in braces. He gives realistic assessments and never over-promises. He explained every step with patience and was always able to slot me in within the day if I needed an emergency consultation (e.g. archwire poking my cheeks), even if it meant him closing his clinic late! Had my braces done in Westfield and I am very happy with the end result! The whole process was also very pleasant. Dr is friendly and always took time to explain things clearly making things easy to understand. I also like the fact in the beginning stages as I consulted Dr about having braces, the cost breakdown of the entire process was given and delivered as promised. I chanced upon some negative reviews about this clinic. I would like to share my experience with Dr Francis Lee. I got to know Dr Lee about 7years ago when he was still at the National Dental Centre. Dr Lee left a deep impression in me back then, he was very patient and friendly. Thus, 5 years later when I decided to have my braces, I decided to look for Dr Lee. I was glad to find his clinic after some researching online. I was in my late thirties with 2 boys. He was very understanding and explained in details the steps towards having the braces, which teeth to be extracted, the estimated duration for my case, the costs, what to expect in the course of treatment etc and even advised that to discuss with my hubby before making the decision. It wasn’t an easy case for me. I had very crooked bottom teeth and had to remove 4 healthy upper and lower teeth. He understands the anxieties and uncertainties that a patient has before embarking on the braces journey. Dr Lee always took time to explain the process and procedures before hand to put me at ease. In less than 2 years, I had successfully completed my braces treatment while expecting my 3rd child. Even after braces removal, Dr Lee make it a point that to have a half yearly review (foc) of my teeth (I just had my 2nd review). I now have straight teeth and able to smile confidently. Dr Francis Lee is a skilful, responsible, and honest orthodontist with good bedside manners. We transferred our daughter’s case to Dr Lee because the previous orthodontist moved to an inconvenient location. Dr. Lee advised us of the inevitable duplication of costs and disruption of the previous treatment plan. Our daughter has recently successfully completed her treatment under Dr Lee and we have absolutely no regrets in transferring her case to him.
