I do not recommend this doctor for surgery with the FUE technique, he does not obtain good results, and I say this from experience. I had surgery in 2010 with the FUSS technique and the result was very good, with an almost imperceptible scar. Around 4-5 years ago I lost a lot of hair and that was when I had FUE surgery twice in 2015 and 2020 with very little survival and very little naturalness. The only luck is that in these two interventions there were not many follicular units and even though the donor area is a little touched, it is still decent. Dr. Villodres was a pioneer in his time in Barcelona, ​​but as I have said, he has not achieved good results with this technique for a long time. Currently, with all the information we have at our disposal, we have the possibility of researching, watching YouTube, social networks and visiting clinics and checking the results and experiences of the patients before choosing the clinic or doctor. PS: I have taken medication finasteride 1 mg + topical minoxidil from 2010-2015. In the second operation he recommends that I increase the dose of finasteride to 2mg. I go back to the previous dose since such a high dose caused side effects and when oral minoxidil appeared I took it instead of the topical one. I have taken medication from 2010 to 2023, which means that hair loss cannot be attributed to not taking medication or not taking care of my hair. Many negative comments, bad treatment by the doctor, bad customer service, and bad results. As of today, (1 week and a half since the operation) I cannot yet judge the results; but it doesn't matter to me because I have visible proof from my relative (but wow, on their website they have many examples of people who are doing great). I want to clarify the other aspects. When I went for the first time to receive care (it was not with Villodres) they treated me very, very well. "It seems like they want you to leave," I've read somewhere. Lie. They helped me and gave me all the information I was looking for, they answered all my questions, they made me a proposal, and I went home so happy. The following days I spoke a lot with reception (Esteban) and I was treated very very well: I have very tight schedules and I needed a date that fit, in addition to looking for a form of financing that would work well for me. He helped me a lot with both, and I ended up very satisfied. And I did it in a very tight time frame. The day of the operation: Villodres treated me first. I've read somewhere that he "serves you badly"? He explained to me what the transplant would be like, and the post. He gave me a series of recommendations: medicines, explanations of how my body would react in the coming days/weeks/months. Alternatives, possibilities and solutions to what could happen. He also gave it to me all printed so that I would remember. He gave me the pills for the following days (he didn't tell me "buy this and this"). He explained everything to me. After the operation he again emphasized the instructions for that day and the next few days. Chapó. He even gave me his private number to ask any questions, and to follow up with photos of the evolution. He answered each of my questions the same day. And I'm very annoying hahaha I asked the poor man a thousand questions. But no, he answered everything and my experience so far has been great. Therefore: treatment received 10/10. At the level of the operation, I want to mention that I could not have been treated better. In the most annoying moment, of giving anesthesia, they constantly asked me "how are you?", they gave me the typical anti-stress balls and they did it quite briefly (or so it seemed to me). During the operation, the atmosphere was very relaxed, which is nice because it is relaxing to see that the doctors around you are relaxed and well. They put me on Netflix and everything hahahaha. They bought me juice too. Little things that are valued. They take great care not to get water on your face while they clean the graft area (they do it several times and the care is appreciated), they call your contact 1 hour before finishing so that they can come and pick you up in time... wow, what? they do things well. Oh, and they cut my back and side hair (leaving my top hair) pretty well for doctors (not hairdressers). Tried to make a cool gradient. Chapó. After the operation you go home, follow the instructions they have given you and everything goes well. Therefore, day of operation 10/10. The following days: my biggest problem was sick leave. But it has nothing to do with the clinic. Aesthetic operations are not covered and do not give you sick leave. Careful with this. But hey, they gave me proof at the clinic, which is fine now. Regarding the recovery, everything went according to what the doctor had told me. I had surgery at this clinic about 2 years ago and I was dissatisfied. Taking into account the emotional and financial investment involved in undergoing a hair transplant, I would not recommend this site. The results were not satisfactory, I lost €6,000 having diffuse alopecia and when you leave post-op you see that something is not right. The number of follicles should be 3000, but at most they put in half. From the moment you step foot in the clinic, it is very obvious that for them you are a wallet with legs and little else. The first visits at a price of €100 were supposedly 15 minutes, but after 5 it seems that the Doctor's chair is burning. Although you have doubts, it seems that they already want to get rid of you. Then on the day of the operation we had to deal with the rest of the staff and some rude edges. Hesitating and making jokes about your bald head as if you weren't listening to them... incredible. In conclusion: look for another place where they treat your problem and your money as it deserves. You just need to see Doctor Villodres' responses to the bad reviews.
