During a recent visit to Cape Town, I experienced a severe injury to my hand that required immediate and professional medical care. Dr Sid made himself available (after hours, I might add) to provide prompt attention to my wound. His gentle and calming demeanor complimented his very thorough exam of the injury, deep cleaning of the site, and very careful repair stitch-work to the wound. I was in good hands indeed. They were incredibly attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. As a woman of color with darker pigmentation, I had concerns about the effectiveness of the treatment. This is a beautiful spa with amazing therapists. They’re warm & have good communication skills. However, my experience with laser (Hair removal) was horrific, I unfortunately burned and even had a first degree burn on my inner glute. If you’re dark-skinned like me, I’d advise you to start with smaller areas for laser & reassess. Otherwise they’re a good team & even called me after the incident to follow up for tests & etc.....
