Not at all happy with this surgery. Never get to see the same doctor. Resident doctors you never see. It's a teaching surgery so you only see junior doctor's.and that's fine for most people. There's been no follow up for me after after ultrasound. Although it was clear I was and still am not well. I've now turned to acupuncture... (Show more)
Leaving this practice can never get an appointment with a gp and when you finally get through to the receptionist after 45 minutes you talk to an horrible person with an attitude to match
I've now been waiting 2 months to get a routine appointment. At this point I may as well go to a walk in centre in Birmingham as our GP surgery clearly is falling to bits.
I would like it explained as to why two mins past 8 ... Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday it states unavailable due to triage being reached ..Sorry but this simply can't be true..is the page malfunctioning, if so it needs looking at .. To have this stated all this week is absolutely ridiculous, no wonder A&E is absolutely rammed... Would like feed back... (Show more)
Awful practice. Rude receptionists.
Never able to get an appointment when i need one. When ill and need an appointment its always see you in three weeks this date , like that helps being ill. Even when told i have a chest infection and struggling to breath due to asthma they still offer an appointment weeks away. On hold for 50 minutes with just 8 people in the phone line que to be told straight away no do a form online at 8am the following day when hospital have specifically referred me for something. I cant be on my phone at work so how am i supposed to do that now? You miss an appointment by a minute theyll cancel immediately yet i get there early and ill be waiting for half an hour past my appointment time. Never really helpful. Doctors give you a diagnosis and physio will tell you its wrong. Get sent to the wrong places too. I need to get myself back to kford doctors cause they put these guys to shame... (Show more)
Always had good treatment when I've needed an appointment, but getting an appointment is now quite difficult thanks to them only taking appointments via their website! My wife was at the doctors this morning for a routine appointment and tried to book an appointment for something else whilst she was there. Despite her physically being at the doctors and talking to a receptionist, they would not book her in for an appointment - they told her she had to go on the website to complete the form. When she went on the website, the form was closed and no longer taking responses. This was at 9am. Today is Friday, she now has to wait until Monday before she can request an appointment. If you are going to insist on people using your website and completing a form, surely you cannot close the form before 9am? Surely the form needs to remain open for patients to request appointments. If you are closing the form because you have had too many responses already, then perhaps the system you have in place is not fit for purpose.... (Show more)
I joined the practice just over 3 years ago and was happy with the service, however, it is now not possible to get an appointment. I have wanted to get an appointment by filling out the request form online, however for several weeks this has not been available. You are unable to request an appointment as the ‘triage safety limit has been reached for today’ - this has been going on for weeks. You are guided to 111 or the urgent care centre at Russell’s hall hospital. I have had to attend the hospital due to there being no availability at the practice.... (Show more)
On hold for 45 minutes as need an appointment urgently. Get told to fill a form in online… Update 20/12/23 So now the online book service is temporarily unavailable. You have to go on at 8am to register to book an appointment. Once this is at capacity they will no longer allow you to book appointments. You can’t even ring to request an appointment. No wonder A&E departments are overrun. What a waste of time and a truly dreadful service.... (Show more)
Churlish receptionist, nurses. Some of the doctors are capable, others are dire and overtly precious.
Awful, plain and simple, if its referrals that dont get sent for months after being instructed to which has happend to me twice now or simply not getting an appointment or taking weeks to send new medications to the chemist, 8.40am this morning they had already closed the lines and website cant even speak to anyone, let alone get an appointment, ive also witnessed staff being quite rude and abrupt to elderly patients when they dont understand how to order medications online etc, i walked out that day because i was about to tell them off, it was horrible to see. You work in the care sector you should have compassion for every patient that walks in, not just the ones that make your working day easier.... (Show more)
Awful online service. Still waiting for an appointment 7 days after the initial request
When you can get to see a Doctor they are not too bad. I work 40hrs a week my job is on the phones. A routine appointment has been made for a telephone appointment. I cannot take personal calls at work and have no where private to talk about my intimate problem. Face to face works best for me but no can't do that.... (Show more)
Lovely caring practice. Always received a fantastic service from the receptionists and Doctors. Would highly recommend.
I have been trying for 2 days now to book an appointment my son had to wait a few weeks for an appointment it was cancelled on the day it took him another week to get a new appointment which is still weeks away
It takes at least 25 min to get through on the phone at any time of day. If you send a message through the website it often gets ignored. My prescription was wrong I’ve been waiting (in pain) for 2 days for them to put it right. There’s some good doctors but the above needs improvement. Perhaps more staff are needed.... (Show more)
Called this morning after no luck accessing an appointment through their website which refers to "Triage Safety reached". The same message yesterday. Was told by Julie (who did not even ask my name but asked my age?) to request an appointment on Wednesday - not Tuesday as it is the day after bank holiday and it will be very busy!!! I was not aware you could choose when to be ill! Appalling service, absolutely rubbish... (Show more)
