Dr Chen fang is very detailed and knowledgeable in both Chinese and western medicine. She is very comforting and does not prey on my fears. She is a good listener and answers all my queries. Highly recommend her.

I saw Dr. Chen Fang but I got even worse after taking the medicine she prescribed (because, which I later found out, that with my body type I could not take ginger but she put that in). I saw her because of poor sleeping quality but I could not fall asleep at all after taking her medicine. As I didn't want to have medicine in powder form, I asked to have only the prescription and I would have the herbal soup made by a herbal shop in Chinatown. Once I got the prescription I (via Whatsapp) had the herbal shop make the soup. Then two hours later, I got a call from Dr. Chen saying that she forgot to mark that one of the ingredients should be added only 10 minutes before finishing the brewing (i.e. "Houxia"). I am appalled how unprofessional she is. And believe it or not I was charged SGD80+ only for that prescription. As the soup had already been made, she said I could continue to drink it. I felt so unwell from insomnia after a few days that I had to discard the remaining few days of medicine and see another doctor.... (Show more)

Insightful consultation. Did consultation for fertility and now having ongoing treatment with acupuncture

I come to Thomson TCM Paragon to seek fertility treatment before embarking on my IVF journey. Dr Huan Chew Ting is my physician and I feel so lucky to have her. I must say what she has done was WAY MORE than a physician’s responsibilities. Without any doubt, she possesses all the necessary knowledge and skills, she is also very genuine, patient and sincere. She did not hesitate to lend a listening ear and comforted me during the stressful days of IVF , even though it was out of her working hours. She was also very generous to gv advise when I share my dad ‘s health problems with her. I been to many other TCM in the past and no one is like her. I've been seeing Huan Chew Ting physician since my #1 was an infant and when I had #2, my #2 also continued seeing her. She literally saw my boys grow up and was always very very patient and understanding towards our needs and queries we had. She's very knowledgeable in terms of her medical expertise without a doubt, and one thing that we love her is she is very good with kids. It is not easy to find a Dr who is knowledgeable and skilled in her profession (this, to me is compulsory for all physicians for them to provide the proper treatment), and YET having that people oriented and genuinity persona (this is an added bonus! Otherwise we wouldn't have seen us for so long without doctor hopping) . Kids will be kids and they are not easy to handle but Dr Huan is able to make us parents feel at ease and the rapport n relationship built among us parents n kids makes treatment way much easier and less stressful. Enough about the physician herself. Counter staff also plays an important role. Not just doing their usual counter job like serving customers and answering enquiries, but also going the extra mile that I did not see in other counter staff. The 2 counter staff that we were really blessed to be served and entertained by was Sofia and Alice. Sofia treated my boys like her own grandchildren. Sometimes having to bring 2 young kids to tuina alone is not easy at all and I always prayed that Sofia was on duty on the day we went because she is so so good with kids too and my boys are very at ease with her around, she will keep my boy entertained while I'm busy tending to my other child, while still giving her 100% in her counter duties. And for her age, she really deserved the commendation and respect. I've encountered staff who treated patients just purely as customers without the genuinity and love. And it made us felt uncomfortable and especially stressed when my kids misbehaved. As for Alice, while our encounters with her were not as much as Sofia. But the fact that I remember her is because she's also another counter staff who goes the extra mile and being proactive, taking the initiative to find ways to keep my boys entertained without me asking. Such staff (Sofia & Alice) and Dr Huan are assets to the company and deserves the commendation and respect for their professionalism and awesome rapport with patients. I've been seeing physician Chen Fang for almost a year. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She will address all your questions patiently, and not rush with the consultation just because there are patients waiting. Can really tell that she is doing it out of love for her job and really wanting to help all her patients. Thumbs up to all the receptionists as well. They are all very nice and friendly.... I’ve been lucky enough to be treated by Chen Fang and I can’t recommend her enough. She is attentive and addresses all my issues. The office is always clean and comfortable and the front desk is always kind. I look forward to every appointment.

Went in twice, and both times booked an appointment. Waiting time +45 minutes! Really poor customer service!
