I cannot rate this practice highly enough. Like so many, I am a very anxious patient when it comes to dentistry. Dr. Raeesa Seedat was so incredibly kind, calm and patient - ensuring that I was comfortable and the filling procedure - completely pain free. Even the numbing injection! Fadia Salie, my oral hygienist, was equally wonderful- I had to have a deep cleaning procedure - and she did everything she could to ensure that I was comfy (including giving me a blanket) and that I felt as little discomfort as possible. I visited Kromboom Dental Centre for a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr Natha. I was super nervous as I hadn't done an extraction before and was also doing this one under local anesthesia (yikes). Firstly, the facility is very clean and professional looking, which really makes you feel a sense of comfort. Dr Natha and his assistant made the process very calm and easy. Not only is the customer service of the whole establishment absolutely fantastic, but the dentist himself is clearly excellent at his job. I had minimal swelling and no bruising. Even post-extraction, Dr Natha and the receptionists were more than happy to calm any anxiety I was experiencing with recovery. Professional, helpful and empathetic. Would give more stars if I could. Went to Kromboom Dental after a bad, and unfinished, experience with another dentist. Was struggling with pain the whole weekend and just being in the practice made me feel better. The receptionist managed to fit me in at the end of their day which was greatly appreciated and the dentist that saw me was super nice , empathetic, and helpful. Really appreciated it.... (Show more)
Dr Amanda Shih, I cannot express my deep gratitude for assisting me yesterday. From being nervous on arrival and not knowing what to expect to leaving the clinic pain free and smiling. Thank you for your professionalism, friendliness and kindness. You and your assistant made my visit so comfortable and I cannot wait to come back! Overall, my first experience with at the Centre was great, from the moment I called the friendly and very informed receptionist till the moment I left. Definitely worthy of more than 5 stars.... If you do not use medical aid, stay away. I got invoiced nearly R2000 for a less than half hour section of just filling cavities. With all do respect, the charge is extremely unjustified.
The doctor that I used he was so good patient with me mad sure I was ok at all times and that nothing ever hurt of all dentist I had dealt with the doctor I had there was the best so if u go to the kroom boom dentist do ask for Dr bhamjee
I had knocked my teeth and suffered severe trauma on them. I was handed over to Doc Seedat who worked so patiently on my teeth and was able to help me. She is the nicest , considerate and most patient dentist ever. I am so glad I was handed over to her. Highly recommend Doc Seedat at Kroomboom Dental Centre... (Show more)
Took my daughter there very nice place must say very friendly aswell but unfortunately she experienced the same thing that I do swollen gum as well as in a lot of pain afterwards

Had my daughter's tongue tie snipped here. The dentist was friendly and the process was quick. Could slow down and explain the process more, we had to prompt a lot of the questions. However, we are very unhappy with the follow up service. One of the other dentists, Zaynab was supposed to contact us with regards to the crucial after care exercises we had to do post-cut. The original dentist assured us that she would discuss it with Zaynab. We called multiple times after we did not hear from the other person and were told she would get back to us. To date, we have had no assistance. Very poor service on their behalf as the exercises is critical to ensuring that the tongue tie does not return. Update: The practice made contact to resolve our experience, and this was done in a very friendly manner and is indicative of the practice's awareness to client satisfaction. The request to see Zainab was not made and there was miscommunication somewhere along the line by staff originally. We were invited to have a follow up check up on the tongue tie by the practice which we did. Zainab was friendly and checked my daughter's progress of healing. Would recommend the practice, just make sure to make any appointments directly to avoid any confusion.... (Show more)

Really had an excellent cleaning by tge hygienist. If I lived here I would make this my home dentist. The price was reasonable as well!
I was quite anxious about coming back to KDC as both my husband and I had a bad experience last year. However that changed when we met Michaela. She really considers her patients and does not treat it as just a job. It was a pleasant experience. We'll definitely be making an appointment with her again.... (Show more)

I cannot speak too highly of Doc Raeesa Seedat. Combination of empathy and professionalism is outstanding. My ages-long phobia was cured after the first few visits. She is an asset to the practice.
