Absolutely 5 🌟 every time. I recently had a really nasty leg break just as I was due a maintenance appointment, they sent my stylist on a 120 mile round journey to have my appointment at home! Every visit since has been facilitated on the ground floor to assist with my temporary disability. Also been fantastic with flexibility of appointments. I don’t usually leave reviews but I wanted to share my experiences of HGS so far. I came to HGS in April 2023, after 3 years with another system provider. From the very start the entire team have been compassionate and understanding of my needs. Whilst I was waiting for my new system to be hand made, they carefully maintained the older one, ensuring that I could go about my day to day life without any interruption. Hair loss is incredibly personal, and the steps they took to ensure my new system matched my own colour and highlights was amazing, the end product quality is natural and beautifully made. Their staff are always kind and the techniques they use are designed to ensure that your remaining hair is protected and well looked after. I’ve even seen some regrowth and improvement rather than a stagnation in growth that I’d experienced previously. Aside from all of this, when I needed to cancel an appointment very last minute close to Christmas due to household sickness, the team pulled together to ensure that they found time in before Christmas shut down to see me and secure my hair for the holiday. Coming up to 3 years at H.G.S and wouldn't go anywhere else. The service you get from the team is second-to-none, really professional, chatty and even from the first appointment, never felt awkward. Feels like every single member of staff wants to be there and they're all excellent at what they do. Reminders for every session via text message, cannot fault the service at all. What a bad experience and I had such high hopes after initial consult. Before I came today Lisa and I had a chat and she took offence because I asked a question about her pricing quite innocently in no way wanting to offend however she was quick to offend and I apologised because I was aware I wasn’t too well that day so assumed I might have unintentionally said wrong thing as obviously she was upset! . Lisa assured me she accepted my apology when I explained and apologised. Come today my first appointment I was immediately treated “passive aggressively” by Lisa and whenI asked what the problem was no explanation was forthcoming. I again assured her our chat was not intended to offend and thati thought she had accepted that. Nevertheless I was told bluntly she didn’t want “My type” and that I “didn’t fit” and then when I asked what she meant by that remark no explanation was given just she didn’t think I would “fit” ! I can only assume Lisa has her own problems that has made her lose sense of proportion because this was not the woman I met before! Just imagine if I was not white and someone said that to me you would be prosecuted? You just cannot talk to people that way unless they are threatening or violent or abusive all of which I most certainly was not and even ifI were you should maintain control if professional. The extra star from the minimum is because Michelle secured my topper but she seemed under impression Lisa didn’t mean what she said but unfortunately she most certainly did! Be warned if your face doesn’t fit you may not be given a service! UPDATE. I will be brief as enough nonsense has been stated. However I have NOT seen 6 previous companies but just two and yes I was given inferior products which I hardly think was my fault and to suggest I had seen six foot hair systems (some reviews from years ago may be fit normal hair cuts before my hair loss) was scraping the barrel somewhat on your part! I think you protested far too much about my enquiry about your legality??! I merely asked why if I am vat exempt and you state you accepted vat exemption, the price quoted (inclusive of vat) was not reduced? I felt this was a fair question and your ott reaction suggests I got a raw nerve of some sort but people will make of that what they will. I was NEVER rude to anyone I might have asked why I was being treated this way when you could have told me not to come in and why were you enjoying humiliating me, but I feel that to be a fair question under the circumstances! I stand by my review and can only say I have never in 66 years of life been treated so appallingly for asking a fair question the question is why did I cause such an extreme reaction??... Lisa and the team have been fantastic from start to finish. They made me feel comfortable from the consultation to the fitting!! I can’t recommend the H.G.S to anybody enough. We came in December for a free consultation with Lisa and it didn't take long to make up our minds that this clinic was the one we'd use. Fast forward to today, my husband had his hair fitted and cut by Debbie. He turned 30 earlier this month and the hair system has taken years off him. I have been a customer at the Hair Growth Studio for over 7 years, so I thought it would be a good time to share my thoughts. From my first consultation with Lisa, to my regular visits, all I can say is that the experience has been 1st class. The ladies really know their stuff and their skills are top notch. My regular stylist is Caris, who is friendly, knowledgeable and at the end of each visit I walk out with a natural, well cut head of hair. If you are considering hair replacement, then I would say go for it. It will take years off you and boost your confidence no end. If you are looking at which studio to visit, then it’s got to be the Hair Growth Studio. Lisa and the team are welcoming, accommodating and provide really professional knowledgable service. HGS is a hidden gem. I've visited quite a few hair studios over the years and, unlike some international companies that receive a lot of coverage in the media, you don't feel pressured to make a snap decision. Instead you're encouraged to simply take your time to make the right decision at your own pace. Lisa and the team should receive more recognition for their Excellent customer service. Had an initial consultation and made an appointment to go ahead. The staff are lovely. It is very private all work done in your own cubicle and I am absolutely over the moon with the results. My friends can’t believe it’s a hair piece, it’s amazing and everyone says I look at least 10 years younger. To anyone thinking of having this done, don’t wait.
