Simran was super attentive and cared for all the small details like moving the TV and always ensuring I was comfortable. She was extremely kind and always filled me in on what she was doing. This was my first time at this clinic with Simran. One of the best dental experiences I've had.

Excellent friendly staff. I see Dr. Woo, have for years. All hygienist are fantastic. My husband goes here too. The ladies in front reception work hard to let me know what benefots cover. I especially appreciate email and text reminders.

My entire family uses this dentist office, we have never had any issues with Dr. Woo. They are all great with kids and very patient with them too!

I agree with the other reviewers; excellent dentist and hygienist, poor customer service. I jut got dinged almost $250 because I asked for a checkup and they did this whole new patient workup on me without asking if that was okay. When I said this to the receptionist... that I should have been asked first... she just kind of shrugged and said I should know my coverage better. She said she might "mention" it. To her boss, I guess she meant. Just in case she doesn't, this is my review.... (Show more)

I was treated by Dr. Hereschuk for a severe cavity starting in July of this year.I chose Terwillegar Dental based on the great reviews they've received online. That was a mistake. Here's my story. After an initial consultation and x-rays, I was told I needed a root canal, and went in for one on August 5th. During the root canal procedure, Dr. Hereschuk told me the cavity 'wasn't as bad as she thought' and there was an '80% chance she could avoid a root canal and just fill the tooth. I agreed and she put a filling in. That cost $800. I was told to check back with the clinic if there was any pain. The pain didn't subside and got worse and worse for two weeks and I was using huge amounts of Advil and Tylenol to control the pain. I called the clinic and asked for an emergency visit. The front desk staff told me that Dr. Hereschuk and all of the other dentists were on vacation, and that I couldn't be seen for another three weeks, minimum. I pointed out this was an emergency, and I was told to call the other Dr. Pon clinics, all of whom told me the same thing-all of their dentists were on vacation and I wouldn't be seen until early September. September 6th rolls around and I've been in agonizing pain for a month, using 5000mg+ of painkillers per day the whole period. Dr. Hereschuk finally gets back and agrees the filling was a mistake, and to do a proper root canal. Following the first stage of the procedure, the tooth feels mostly better, but I begin suffering from terrible jaw pain. Today, after six weeks of horrible pain, Dr. Hereschuk conducted the second stage of my root canal. Before we started, she asked how I had been, and I told her about my terrible jaw pain. She said it was my fault because I grind my teeth. I pointed out that the pain had started when she put the botched filling in during August. I ask her if she can check for possible causes of the jaw pain and she refuses, and says it's my fault for grinding my teeth. She goes on to say that she 'won't complete the procedure if I'm angry at her'. This is AFTER she's already jammed a needle of freezing in my jaw. I tell he to complete the root canal anyhow, and I'll just deal with the consequences of her work later. So here's the score so far: six weeks in agonizing pain. One, so far incomplete, root canal (I still need a crown in several months, which will cost another $830). Five visits to the office. So far, I've spent over $2500 ($350 for the first exam, $800 for the botched filling, $1100 for the root canal, and visit fees for the other times), and my tooth still isn't fixed.... (Show more)

Just like many other clients, I have been dinged as well with some more money at the end of the appointment. Apparently my insurance often doesn’t cover some units of the procedure. I have asked the front staff to please make sure they only do what is covered but somehow they miss it often and I have to pay from my own pocket. I guess I am done with this place. Hasta la vista.... (Show more)

The technician is rude somehow. Do not see much difference after teeth cleaning. The people there always ask patients to come back, not based on what patients need. The fees increased a lot.

I’ve been going to this dentist for many years. Dr. Woo did my wisdom teeth extraction at the Riverbend location, but he has also done work on my teeth at this location. He has done a good job every time & seems to know what he is doing better than some of the other dentists I have had the experience with. My last hygienist here also cleaned my teeth better and more thorough than any other hygienist ever has. She did a really good job. The only complaint I have is I’ve had one bad dentist here but I was told he no longer works here. & the wait times have been excessive at times but other times have been quick.... (Show more)

First off, we found this clinic when my husband needed emergency care and ultimately a root canal. Direct billing, kind and considerate staff and great care is what we found. Dr. Eddy is professional, kind, thorough and made sure we were comfortable with all of our procedures. Each assistant and hygienist we experienced were wonderful. A great family clinic with extended hours and kind knowledgeable reception.... (Show more)
