I stayed with my mother, who had major dental problems. From the dentists Tamara and Marko I found professionalism, competence, honesty, clarity, empathy, availability. Everything you need, for those of us who come from outside and are a little disoriented. They make you feel at home straight away, immediately establishing a relationship of trust. They try to save the tooth where possible by avoiding doing extra work, just to earn money, as often happens elsewhere. They also supported me in reaching them, which is actually very easy as the studio is located right in front of the flixbus stop and in front of the apartment agency... which can be rented at reasonable prices and are within walking distance. walk from the studio. We became patients of Studio Stradiot in 2011 (known on the Internet) after my husband, having a big problem with his teeth, had turned to various dental practices in Italy and received conflicting opinions on what to do. Welcomed by Dr. Tamara and Dr. Marko with professionalism and competence, they offered us a solution that would preserve the existing teeth as much as possible. So it was, we were very satisfied and after almost thirteen years the work done is still valid. Of course you have to take into account going back and forth to Rijeka a few times (5 in our case) but before starting the timing and dates are established and this is important especially for those who work. Good evening, I wanted to send a greeting to Dr. Tamara and also to Dr. Marko. Although I was unable to regularly continue the scheduled checks (approximately every 6 months), due to the almost 3 years for Covid 19 or Sars Cov2;[ I would like to start by saying that I had started a series of important works on the entire part of the upper arch + n° 5 implants in the lower one about almost 7/8 years ago if I remember correctly] I continued to trust in the professionalism, as well as the friendliness and availability shown to me in the interventions I mentioned above in previous years. (I apologize for the lack of accents but I am retrograde in use of laptop...). I then went to the Stradiot practice in Fiume/Rijeka, Croatia and despite the almost 3 years that have passed, Doctor Marko and Doctor Tamara, and I write this without convenient words, managed to recover a situation that had deteriorated if not seriously but let's say medium severity so to speak. I therefore conclude by saying that you have no fear of entrusting yourself to their hands, because despite the distance, from where I am it is around 500/600 km, you will always find people who will put you at ease, and above all they will solve any dental problem you have with great professionalism. In 2009, due to the disastrous situation I had now reached and the consequent cost to be faced (there is no point in looking for excuses), I turned my gaze from Verona to beyond the border... (and it is also useless to deny the typical doubts of those looking for a solution other than the classic one). After careful research on the internet and reading kilometers of reviews, I chose to go to Studio Stradiot, also relying a lot on luck. I confirm and underline what has already been said by many who, like me, have been able to "understand" that that combination of correctness, professionalism, ethical honesty, availability,... make this firm something truly rare and... including this... the financial aspect loses much of its importance. And it is with this trust that even today, I and my entire family rely on Dr. Tamara Karleuša Stradiot and Dr. Marko Končurat. Thank you very much!!! Borders: as already for the border between Italy and Slovenia, from 1 January 2023 there will also no longer be controls at the border between Slovenia and Croatia, people will pass directly. Also from 1 January 2023 the official currency in Croatia is the Euro Accommodation: I entrusted myself to an agency that has an office right in front of Studio Stadiot and various apartments equally close (50/100 metres) therefore logistically very convenient and in the city centre. Honest prices. Parking: As mentioned by others, there are many paid and video-monitored car parks nearby. I found the parking in front of the port advantageous which, as well as being very close (150 m), is free from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am while in the remaining hours the price is 1 euro/h with no time limits. The only flaw is that it is difficult to find a seat in the morning, unless you wait for someone to leave. Easier in the late afternoon. I parked in the morning and left it there for two days. My fear of going to the dentist began as a child. Probably the reason for this was Soviet dentistry, which I still saw, when tooth filling was carried out without painkillers and when pulling out a tooth, poor-quality anesthesia was used. I want to emphasize that I had this fear until today and at the moment I don’t have it thanks to the small dental studio Stradiot, located in the center of Rijeka. It was there that they helped me understand my dental problems and choose the right treatment method. What characterizes this studio? Firstly, this is professionalism. The second is a hospitable nature. The third thing is that there is always a human factor there. I felt very good there. I have been frequenting the Stradiot studio for about fifteen years. I started when, after three "stellar" quotes in Italy (with the minimum amount required I could have bought a medium-sized car) I let myself be attracted by very positive reviews and left for Rijeka (Rijeka). Getting to know Dr. Stradiot and the Dr. Karleusa, professionals who do not need to flaunt and boast of their competence, was also a surprise for the ease of establishing an immediate and positive human relationship. The cost of the intervention was also unexpected (a small fraction of that mentioned above) and above all, even after many years, the certainty that the materials used were of excellent quality. I return regularly once a year for routine check-ups and some small operations. Over the years the city has modernized a lot with comfort and lifestyle today similar to many others in Europe. The recent adoption of the euro was not a pretext for the Stradiot dental practice to increase prices: further demonstration of seriousness and correctness. I recommend checking it out in person.... Thanks to the Stradiot practice I solved my dental problems. The studio is located in the center of Rijeka, a few steps away there are convenient car parks to leave your car, also very convenient for those who choose to arrive by bus, the stop is located a few meters from the studio. River is away about 60 km from Trieste. Marko and Tamara are true professionals who, together with their staff, make you feel at home straight away. They were very clear explaining to me the work to be carried out, after planning the work Marko carried out everything perfectly. 10/03/2023 I have been frequenting the Dental Office Studio Stradiot for more than a decade, since the first visit they have given me trust, professionalism and carry out only strictly necessary interventions, without taking advantage of them, confirming the first impression from time to time. Reasonable and affordable rates. It is a small studio, family-run, welcoming, managed by Tamara and Marko, where the human relationship is always present, they speak Italian and other European languages ​​well. The practice is located in the center of Rijeka, right next to the pedestrian and shopping area, a city that is beautiful to look at and pleasant to visit even for those who are waiting for you while having dental treatments. About a hundred meters away there are 2 convenient paid public car parks, otherwise you have to search around a bit. The building is equipped with a doorman and an old elevator, fortunately always found to be working so far, the studio is located on the tenth floor with a fantastic view of the entire city. Tamara, Marko and their staff are available for any need, even with practical suggestions such as accommodation, restaurants and any other need. I also appreciate this practice because I am able to concentrate, dental interventions and cleaning in a single moment compared to our local practices. I come from the north of Italy, I made the trip both during the day and stopping for the weekend, combining business with pleasure for a bit of sea and fish. I will return to this studio again....
