At Talbot Road Dental Practice it’s our priority to provide the best care possible, and we are pleased to announce that we have successfully renewed our BDA (British Dental Association) Good Practice scheme membership for the seventh year running. This means that our practice is committed to keeping up to date with, and providing quality dental care to nationally agreed standards of good practice in order to provide the best care for you. We are proud to say we are the only BDA Good Practice Award holders in Port Talbot. We continue to be actively involved in the local community, which is very important to us. This year, in association with Aberavon RFC, practice hygienist Viv, and dental nurse Angela, have visited 19 schools in the county, totalling over 500 Year 6 pupils. During the visits they taught pupils about healthy drinks for their teeth and the importance of wearing mouthguards. They also taught them some first aid for their teeth in case of sports injuries.
