Dr Wojciech Pawlak
Chairman of the Board Dr. Wojciech Pawlak, MD graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice in 1976, the same year he was hired as a full-time assistant in the Department of Orthopedics Hospital Medical University of Silesia in Bytom. In 1980 he was promoted to the position of Senior Assistant. During his time at the Department of Orthopedics earned extensive experience both in theory as well as practice, which allowed him, among others, be the author and co-author of 4-ch scientific papers published in national literature. In the meantime obtained a second degree of specialization in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology (1983). The work in the Department ended in 1985 In the same year he started working at City Hospital No. 1 in Zabrze acting deputy of the Department of Orthopaedics and Injury. In recent years, he was promoted to the position of Head. In 1987 he completed the first national rate of knee arthroscopy in Puszczykowie. However, in the years 1988-1994 was, he was the Head of Admissions Municipal Hospital No. 1 in Zabrze.
Dr Jacek Zatorski
Vice President Lek. Jacek Zatorski MD graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice in 1990, a year later he was hired as an assistant at City Hospital No. 1 in Zabrze in the Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma. In 1999 he was promoted to the position of Senior Assistant. In the same year he received a second degree of specialization in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology. In 1990-1997 he was doctor Ambulance Service in Zabrze. In the meantime, he completed a number of courses and training courses in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology, that ended up getting numerous certificates. He participated in the First National Course of Arthroscopy in 1994. In addition, a member of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Since 2005, after the liquidation of City Hospital No. 1 in Zabrze, works as an orthopedic specialist, as well as Vice President in NZOZ "Hospital Zaborze" Sp. z oo in Zabrze.
Had knee replacement done in January 2024, I would not hesitate to go back if needed, excellent care before and after.
Coming to Sanvimed for my hip replacement was a great decision. The care, kindness, professionalism and expertise I have experienced has been wonderful. I have received expert physio input daily after my operation with films to take home to support my continuing recovery. Dr Pawlak looked in on me nearly everyday to check my progress and the healing of the wound. The nursing staff that here are amazing. Maja and Carolina communicated so well about everything. Terrible hospital! Two visits / for a total of PLN 700 / ... they treated my arm - and I have a bad spine!
Like everyone else who has reviewed this hospital, I have found the level of care and surgical expertise outstanding. All staff are friendly and couldn't do enough to make a patient feel comfortable; meals are superb and a mere 7 days since my first hip replacement I'm climbing stairs, walking almost unaided (having used crutches for 6 months) and in almost no pain thanks to daily physio. Maja, the patient care co-ordinator is exceptional in her role as travel facilitator, from advising on flights and pre- op requirements to popping to the shops for emergency dry shampoo! I had worried about having an operation abroad. Now, I can't wait to come back and have my second hip replacement in a few months time. I only wish I'd stopped hoping the UK waiting lists would shrink faster and just got on that plane!... (Show more)
I went with my brother for his 2nd hip replacement, the first having been done in January 2021, Maja was excellent in the organising of the first trip and we had no hesitation in using Maja's services and that of the clinic once again, all the staff are very friendly and I could recommend the Sanvimed clinic to anyone. Especially for the ease of organisation by Maja. Thank you team for a great job, and brother is once again recovering really quickly.... (Show more)

I used the services. Minor procedure. Price PLN 3.5 thousand 5 years ago. Today I can barely walk, the pain is so great after this great procedure
I don't recommend it, specifically I don't recommend it Orthopedist Dr. Latkowski, rude, no attitude towards the patient, quality of the visit below the National Health Fund, 3 minutes and PLN 250.
Great, I recommend Dr. B, the ladies at the registration desk who are there to help, and the entire hospital. You can count on help.
A top notch hospital, my knee has been repaired, thank you all very much.
The best clinic, I am treated there both privately and on a fund basis. I have never been disappointed. The ladies at the registration desk are always very nice and helpful, I have never heard a single bad comment from them, even though I called several times with various issues. Doctors, nurses and registration ladies, all competent and friendly. They will explain everything and help. The right people in the right place. Finding a good physiotherapist is like winning the lottery - I recommend Mr. Tomek.
Excellent Levels of Service & Care. We have just returned to the UK following Second Hip Replacement Surgery at Sanvimed. We cannot praise Maja, Dr Pawlak and all of the nursing, physio and domestic staff enough. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend the clinic.
The facilities and the team at Sanvimed are brilliant. Thanks to Dr Pawlak & his amazing team - especially the nursing staff who provided wonderful care to my father who had shoulder surgery.
Thank you wholeheartedly, doctor. med. Jacek Zatorski, thanks to him I can walk and return to an active life.

I honestly don't recommend it. Mr. M.B, because he cannot be called a doctor, is very unpleasant, rude and the only recommended treatment is to change his job. Payment for the visit must be made in advance, otherwise no one would pay. Drama
I recently stayed at the SANVIMED hospital (05/2021). I had knee arthroscopy (ruptured medial meniscus and cartilage defect), performed by Dr. Zatorski and I am really pleasantly surprised. Dr. very professional, he made a diagnosis very quickly. The procedure was performed great in my opinion. Short stay (2 days) Nurses always smiling and helpful. Mrs. Dr. the anesthesiologist was very nice and explained everything factually - the course of the procedure. I can really recommend it to everyone... (Show more)
