I was referral to Dr. Storwick for my psoriasis problem, and this ends in 2 weeks. Best dermatologist in Calgary

I specifically requested a check for a mole that had been acting strangely for a year. I was brushed off. A full body mole check that I requested took under 5 minutes and the Dr barely looked at me (didn't even notice, for instance, the 2" diameter mole on my hand). By the third time of making an appointment for the specific mole that was acting weird and waiting four months for my appointment day, they finally sent a sample for testing, said I'd hear back in 2 weeks, and then I didn't hear anything. Over a month later I called in to follow up, sat through 20 minutes of on-hold sales pitches, just to discover it is pre-cancerous. But I had to ask the receptionist to repeat the terms she was using multiple times because she was so quick on the phone I couldn't make them out. I hesitated to post this review because they are nice to me when I'm in, but I truly do not have faith that my health is a priority to anybody in this building, and for that reason I would recommend finding another dermatologist.... Dr Storwick was excellent as opposed to the Front Desk clerks, in particular the clerk with the dark hair. No smile. "Fill in this form" No response when the form was returned. As a courtesy, we arrived 15 minutes early because there is always a form to fill out. Why? Not sure? Obviously, the information is in the computer. Disappointingly, we had to wait 35 minutes to be called. Why? How rude. No excuse is reasonable. People arrived during this wait time and went directly in. Did they know that the appointments are always late? In other words, don't waste time in the waiting room/holding tank. Arrive late, and still be on time. A good friend of mine told me to get a referral for Dr.Storwick. I am so glad I did! He is very quick and efficient answers all your questions And he is very personable. BEST CHOICE! I would highly recommend Dr Storeick and his team!!

Dr. Ting is amazing. She’s is always kind, friendly and is a fantastic dermatologist. I trust her completely with my care. Not 5 but 10 stars!

Dr. Storwick is the best derm out there. He has changed my life and fixed my skin. Highly recommend - he’s worth the wait. Nurse Jenn is also so lovely

What is the point of a scheduled appointment? My appointment was at 11:45am with Dr. Ting. I arrived and checked in at 11:35am hoping to get in a room earlier. But instead I had to wait at the lobby for 50min. There were people who checked in after me and were brought into a room earlier than I was. When I followed up with the receptionist they were not apologetic. After the 50min wait, I was brought into a room and waited for another 5min. Dr. Ting is not a people person and doesn't take the time to sit and speak with you. She was standing while she listened to my symptoms, which makes me feel rushed as she readies to leave to her next appointment. Her assistant just types away on the computer as I tell my symptoms which is very distracting. I only saw Dr. Ting for 7min. Dr. Ting did not even bother to properly look at my skin but provided advice as to what I should do next. Which was not written on a note. And when I asked the assistant to write Dr. Ting's advice she only gave me a look of annoyance. This experience made me feel incredibly invalid and stupid on why I even bother coming here. They are not welcoming and do not provide the type of caring you would need from a doctor at the clinic. I am very disappointed with this clinic, it's staff and Dr. Ting. I will not be coming back here or refer anyone to see this clinic for dermatology.... (Show more)

I’ve been a customer/patient for a decade on and off. I see one particular nurse who I trust and value. I would like to relay that the front end could be better. Without fail I’m immediately put on hold without agreement -if I can even get someone to answer the phone. Melancholy and aloof is how I would describe the front end attitude, neither of which elevate my experience at this clinic.... (Show more)

After reading the reviews I was concerned about the quality of the service but still decided to visit. My experience was phenomenal. The waiting time was literally 5 minutes, including filling in a form as a first-time client. The lobby had around 10 people inside waiting and everybody was called in super fast. The staff was very pleasant, polite and comfortable to talk to. My first time experience deserves 5 star, nothing less. Would recommend.... (Show more)

I’m giving one star not because of the Doctors(they are actually wonderful and do great work), but because of the ultra passive aggressive receptionist that makes it so you doubt you’ll actually see a doctor at all. When you call them it’s hard to not be able to get through to a person, but also you have to listen to the recording of this same person going on and on about when they are at lunch, how they won’t check emails, or listen voice mails, or call people back(must be nice??). When I finally got through to the one in question, she said “I’m going to put you on hold and literally put me on a “time out” mid sentence because I was explaining how frustrating it’s been to not be able to connect with them for 2 weeks. I’d like to say that other receptionist is actually fine. I think everyone that’s been to the office can quickly decipher the one I’m referring to.... (Show more)

The Doctors are good but it is near impossible to make an appointment as rarely does the admin answer the phone. My mother tried for 2 weeks to get through. The woman I spoke with this morning had no care at all and was not helpful. If there is a pressing issue it doesn't seem to matter. Not impressed at all....quite upset.... (Show more)

Do not waste your time. I was referred to this “business” by my GP. Earliest appointment I could get was 2 months out. I understood this, because I realize healthcare is busy and overwhelmed atm. When I made the appointment, I asked about wait time and how long the appointment would be, as I was taking time off of work to be at this appointment. I was informed that it would be 10-15min. When I arrived, staff were not friendly, just asked my name and handed me a clipboard to fill out the intake form. No smile or pleasant greeting. I filled out the form and waited another 15min before being taken back for my appointment. I then had to wait for another 45min in the exam room. I went to the front desk to reschedule my appointment, as I had taken time off of work to be there and had to go back to work. When I asked the receptionist, why I wasn’t informed of the delay, I was given the response, “Well I’m not going to interrupt another appointment to find out”. I would never ask someone to be so unprofessional, I am not sure why that was the response. I would assume someone in this position would use common sense to realize if the doctor isn’t available at that time, to inform the patient that there is a delay. I have reached out to speak to management, before leaving a review and I still have not received a response. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here and will be getting another referral elsewhere.... (Show more)

I've been seeing Dr. Greg twice a year since 2004 as I'm a survivor of an aggressive form of cancer. Dr. Greg has a great personality and is very diligent with his checkup on my body. He takes the time to answer all my questions. Today, for the first time in 19 years, he wasn't able to see me so I was seen by Dr. Tetyana Khlabatyn and was very impressed with her attention to the issues that needed to be addressed. I so appreciate all the staff and their attention to detail. She also gave me the name of a plastic surgeon for a friend of mine with a skin cancer diagnosis. Thank you.... (Show more)

Dr. Ting is simply exceptional. I credit her for catching so many sun damaged spots before they can become something worse. She is knowledgeable careful, thorough, and aggressive in skin treatments.
