Dr Vijay Raichura
Completed my undergraduate training at Liverpool University in 2002 which is where He met my wife Reena. Since then I have worked in General Practice in Central London and Essex for 6 years. He have worked in Stoke Road Dental Practice since 2008. Over the years He have completed a postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics, undertaken a 2 year intensive course in Oral Implantology in Oxford. He have also completed a year long Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice and He have just passed the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at London’s prestigious Eastman Dental Institute.
Dr Reena Raichura
Completed her training at Liverpool University, in 2003. Having worked in London, Luton and Southampton she has had experience working in General Practice, hospital and community dentistry. A number of postgraduate courses completed in London include a year-long course in Implant Dentistry and also has a certificate in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. She has had specific training in dealing with nervous patients whom we welcome to the practice. While bringing up two young children Reena has completed her membership of the Joint Dental Faculties examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr George Zardavas
Completed his training at the Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 1998. After working for 2 years as a Military Dentist for the Hellenic (Greek) Army he relocated to the UK in 2001. Since then he has worked in General Practice in London and then Portsmouth before joining Stoke Road Dental Practice in April 2006. He has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry; He has successfully completed year-long hands-on postgraduate courses in Restorative Dentistry (Eastman University in London, 2007) and Cosmetic Dentistry (CDS Seminars 2014). Full member of British Cosmetic Dentistry Society (BCDS) and Associate Member of British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD)
I was looking to have cosmetic bridgework and selected this practice to do the work. I was assigned to Vijay. I did in fact go for assessments at some other practices but my gut feeling was that this was the best place to do the work I needed and how right I was. From my first consultation up until todays completion I can honestly say this is the best dental practice I have ever visited. Everyone from whoever you first see in reception through to Vijay himself could not have been more friendly and reassuring. Vijay has been brilliant. The best dentist I have had. Vijay has been looking after my teeth for 10 years and now in my 60’s they are the best they have ever been . Thanks also to the staff and hygienist.

Splendid treatment by Vijay and his competent nurse Siobhan very understanding of my nervousness. Prices clearly marked out prior to treatment. Able to pay in instalments over the period of treatment. Not a reflection on the practice but I hope not to see you too soon!
Myself, husband and daughter all attend this dentist practise. My daughter who recently had her first visit was treated brilliantly - the dentist and the nurse made her feel at ease as she was quite worried. They really took their time with her. I didn’t feel rushed, which as a parent with an anxious child can be difficult. My own treatment from my dentist (Vijay) is very good. He explains things well, he is thorough with his notes and is consistent in talking me through what he is doing. He advises treatment options for me but I have never felt pressured to pursue something - especially when I needed a tooth extract during maternity leave. I recently had that tooth removed by this dentist. Again very thorough in explaining each step. Didn’t experience any pain, only a slight bit of pressure. I feel very cared for at this dentist. Have been with this dentist Vijay for several years now and am very pleased with the service I receive. All the staff are very friendly and are always cheerful and talkative whilst doing and excellent job. Over the last couple of years have had regular 6 monthly checkups and hygienist appointments and had new Upper and Lower chrome dentures. I can honestly say that my new dentures are far better than I have had before and the fit is superb wish I had had them earlier. Cannot fault this dental practice, friendly and helpful staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. I had a painful wisdom tooth that my usual practice was dithering about extracting in the surgery, contacted Stoke Road Dental Practice, and was in the chair at 9.10 the following morning, tooth was removed in less than 2 minutes. All the staff are very professional and efficient; my dentist Vijay, the hygienist, nurses and staff are really pleasant and friendly. I had the usual check up, clean and polish with the hygienist. I had a small cosmetic filling which I had been putting off but it was so quick and easy.
I've just had a new plate fitted for my front teeth after an accident a few months ago. From the start, Vijay was brilliant, providing an excellent service from helping with the insurance paperwork to providing a fantastic new plate that fits like a glove. I was nervous about my appointment, however the lady at reception and vijay made me feel very comfortable. The problems I had were sorted then and there with no problems. Vijay is a fantastic dentist who goes above and beyond. Moved away, but stayed as great dentists are few and far between!
Recently joined this practice- my dentist is Vijay. I have had multiple extractions and now have a complete set of chrome & acrylic dentures. The service has been excellent and I can’t praise Vijay & the team highly enough. The treatment & price was discussed with me beforehand and I feel was excellent value for money. i went for emergency appointment vijay who saw me made me out of easy made me comfy when i told him i dont like dentists or needles didnt no he tooked my tooth out either i will go a gain in july
