After waiting on hold was told that I would get a call back later, still waiting.
been trying to get in our doctors for 3 weeks now, no doctors available or no appointments by 8 15 am in the morning..they don't even open till 8am, when you ring your are minimum 15th in the queue,if it would let me I would give the surgery a big fat zero for a rating, receptionists are rude and can't wait to get you off the phone 👎... ADDITION 17th August 2023. Dr. Reception's REFUSAL to obey their masters and potentially save a life. Due to having a huge amount of blood, and blood clots in my urine, I was informed by two medical professionals at the surgery to take a sample of urine into the practice. On the day specified, I went to the surgery with my urine sample, in the morning, and was told by Dr. Reception they were not going to take my sample from me for the nurse to test, send off, whatever, because there is no nurse to dip it and all the dipping slots are full, 7 of them, so try again tomorrow. Yes, here is me, worried to death whether I have bladder cancer, I'm holding the fresh sample of blood clotted urine, the evidence, and Dr. Reception is saying to me, "THE COMPUTER SAYS NO..." Not that she checked the computer, that was just my way of getting across the insane 2+2=5 world we're now living in, 1984 comes to mind. That same Dr. Reception whom we're informed take their orders from the doctors each time you phone and TRY and make an appointment, but ignore those same doctors when they tell a patient to provide a urine sample on a specific date. Yes, I am sure many of you have had to sit there repeatedly and listen to the same old mono boring tones telling you that, "reception have been told to do this by the doctors therefore they are exempt from any liability for their actions which could lead to a negative outcome for the patient," didn't the SS Guards in the concentration camps say the same thing... "I was only following orders." ADDITION. 6th December 2021. The treatment, as a British Armed Forces Veteran who can't wear a face covering for a number of reasons, I was given by one of the arrogant receptionists at this place should be the reason why it is closed down. She has no idea what the Welsh Government Guidelines are on the wearing of face coverings. SHOULD BE SACKED. Arrogance beyond the pale, we served for your freedoms, and you treat us like something off the bottom of your bloody dirty grimy shoes. TERRIBLE. Original review 2020. First terrible experience. When you tell the receptionist multiple times you have a face to face appointment, and you need to cancel it, due to not wanting to waste the doctor's time as the reason for the appointment is not presenting itself, and it would be better to wait until it is, but the receptionist speaks to you like you are imagining everything you're saying you know this practice does not listen to its patients and does not even communicate among its own staff vital information. I have waited over a year for a heart monitor. If the surgery, knowing my condition, can't just say to me that I should come in immediately when I get the symptoms, and they can arrange to monitor the problem there and then, I keep telling them about, but are unable to capture it in real time, because I can't get an appointment when its happening, then the service is really failing. COVID THE MAGIC VIRUS with a 99.9+% survival rate, most will not contract, most who do contract are asymptomatic, the median age of death is 81 - 82, most who succumb, sadly, have multiple underlying conditions. It is called THE GREAT RESET. WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM. UTTER MADNESS.... (Show more)
Bit hard to get medical advice and help when the receptionists are like gaurd pit dogs to the doctors. Constant changes to time your allowed to call up for an appointment too. Not a single person in the office can give you a staight answer either, they just guess to get you out of there hair. A doctors office full of confusion. 100% in need of contacting pals for support if this is your doctors.. Been left with my symptoms for over a year now, now could be left infertile. No apathy for patients, and not taken seriously when it comes to mental health. Seriously reconsider if your thinking of using this doctors!... (Show more)
You can only call at 8am but the answer machine tells you to try again later, then hangs up on you because the queue is full. Appalling system.
Always been helpful
Service unacceptable. Joined this practice 2.5 yrs ago. The only time I had to go was when an optometrist mentioned I may have high bp. Doctor from st marks at the time, jokingly said I should go straight to the big building with yellow boxes outside, meaning ambulances!!! BP at time was 240/160 . Since then I have been diagnosed with acromegaly and st marks have been told to monitor my blood pressure and either change my meds or inform my consultants of my BP so they can alter my meds. HAVEN'T HEARD OF THEM SINCE, WHICH IS ALMOST 18 MONTHS ON!! Pathetic service, can't even order repeat prescription now because there are no doctors(quacks) to authorise!!!... (Show more)
The service we have received in the last 7 months since rejoining the practice has been excellent . The receptionist are friendly and do their best under difficult conditions . Appointments via phone and in person have been available and fast. Well done
Awful
Shocking, not sure what the future holds, i personally feel let down by this practice.
Just can't get a appointment for my wife and we have been trying for 8 days ringing at 8 o'clock in the morning but no luck this is not what I have paid for all my working life ĺ
Thankfully It’s not very often I’ve had to contact the surgery but on the 3 times I have in probably the last 5 years I’ve been extremely frustrated that an appointment was unavailable. The second was when I had a severe pain in my back and couldn’t move. Aged 74 at the time and unable to move I got absolutely no help from the receptionist and had to pay for 3 weeks private treatment! The recent call I made aged 76, to see a Dr was greeted with my name being forwarded to a doctors hub in South Wales where a doctor would call me within 72 hours. I said I could be dead by then. This is a complete joke!... (Show more)
Much better than 12 months ago with the new appointment system but I am not sure who the doctors are, which is a shame , but they have been very good and called me in when necessary so no complaints from us.
The receptionist is an absolute joke, so unprofessional and no patient care. Even after trying for 6 days to get an appointment, calling in at 8am and over 100 radials to be told there are none and to try again tomorrow! Better odds with the lottery. Her solution to it is to go to A&E!! Shocking.
Brand new medical facility but management was so poor that Doctors starting leaving until there was only a male nurse left to treat patients - Surgery was then taken over by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, resulting in no resident Doctors, only locums - absolutely disgraceful under Labour.
Do not join the surgery, there are no doctors or appointments available and the reception staff are abrupt and unhelpful. I worry that it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.
They rang me and when I tried to return the call, I gave up after 10 mis. That's 10 mins of my life I will never get back. Cheers St. Marks. What the hell did you ring me for anyway. I'm with Queensferry me dical centre not you
Surgery opens at 8. I rang on repeat from 7:58 over 200 times untill someone finally answered at 8:19 to which i was then told all appointments were gone. Feel like they've just chosen to ignore me. I'd just like to point out, this is not a reflection of the surgery as a whole, the doctors who have seen me when I have managed to get in have been amazing. It really is the reception that lets this place down. I know there are issues with making appointments with most surgeries but ringing 200 times right when they open and still not getting an appointment seems ridiculous.... (Show more)
Shocking reception staff who did not help, very rude and had no customer service skills. Left a vulnerable lady without any assistance, avoid like the plague.
Unfortunately, I have received some very biased and shoddy service in the past from some of the doctors in this surgery, and affiliated NHS colleagues. I have no option other than to inform the GMC Wales. A vote of no confidence.
