Overall excellent, staff very helpful and nurses/surgeon/anesthetist all take great care of patients. Very grateful to them all
first class experience from start to Finnish can't thank the staff and surgeon and anesthsitists enough would recommend this hospital highly.
I would highly recommend Methley Park. Got my back surgery done few days ago and feeling the improvement already. Could not praise Mr Corns and all the team in Methley Park enough. Got well looked after. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I had my back operation on 6th February 2024, I cannot praise the staff enough. They were able to answer allmy questions and calmed my worries. My operation went well and my consultant was brilliant and put me at ease and told me exactly what he was going to do, he came afterwards to let me know everythinghad gone to plan. My experience was really good and I would recommend Methley Park to anyone who is looking to have an operation.... (Show more)
Excellent service. Extremely punctual and very friendly nurses especially Ann
Excellent care from amazing team working across nursing, physio, support and catering. Helped make my op and recovery such a positive experience.
Had key-hole surgery to repair a meniscal tear, service and care was excellent from arrival to being discharged. Big 'thank-you' to John who specifically looked after me.
Had a discectomy in Spire Methley Park. Wonderful care from initial consultation through to surgery, stay and rehab. Lovely people, great facilities and wonderful care.
Just had a full knee replacement at the spire hospital Methley, I can say from start to finish I was looked after by a great caring team and my consultant dr Andrew legg, thank you so much.
Had hip replacement surgery here and the whole experience wasn't as scary as I expected. Mr McWilliams was excellent and physio, Tash, got me up and walking better in no time. The place is spotlessly clean.Staff are very attentive. Rooms are well equipped. All in all they make the experience a lot more pleasurable than you could expect. 10/10. Mike 🙂🏴... (Show more)
First time using Methley Park, I felt at ease from the first consultation. Miss Orla Austin made me feel comfortable to ask all my questions and confident i was with the right surgeon and in the right place. The staff is so kind and pleasant. Room is spotless and the food is lovely too. Would definitely advise Methley Park for further surgery's.... (Show more)
In for a knee replacement , was very nervous and anxious but the staff here make you feel relaxed . The whole anaesthetist team calmed me down and I have received great after care from everyone involved . Physios have been great as has the nurses particularly Jenni who looked after me on admission The food has also been really nice . The room I am in is lovely with a nice tv and facilities . I honestly can’t find anything wrong with how I have been treated... (Show more)
I'd say it's just there. Parking is a joke and they were late seeing me, but never once apologised. The staff were so-so, mostly polite but the 'young' one on reception sounded like she had no clue what she was doing, and wasn't very friendly. The surgeon was, well, didn't seem to really know what I wanted much. Overall ok, but not what you would expect from a private service. Not very on the ball with things either, not sure I have faith in their abilities.... (Show more)
Had full knee replacement surgery recently at Methley Park, where I received excellent aftercare. All the nurses and physios were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend
The nursing staff at Methley Park are wonderful. I was made so comfortable from admission to discharge. Special thanks to Gina and Dexter for looking after me so well.
Not a great experience I'm afraid! Had an operation and was given a red band for allergy to surgical glue and plasters. The allergy was completely ignored and was administered them anyway. Had to change myself as I had a bad reaction, and then caught Cellulitis. The nurses were great, but the surgical side was not so great.... (Show more)
Brilliant, proffesional, compasionate and thoughtful care thankyou.
I decided to go for surgery to remove my gall bladder. I funded this myself as the wait on the NHS was too long. I had a consultation with Dr Shiwani and on his advice had my operation. It was seemless, all the pre op appointments were well managed. On the day of my op, it went exactly as planned. The care I received from the nursing staff was second to non. Catherine and liz were able to answer all questions and their care was amazing. I had my operation as a day care, no need to stay in hospital. It was well worth the cost, and I now have private medical insurance to cover me for any future care I may need.... (Show more)
First class from start to finish. This is how all hospitals should be.
My partner had surgery here recently some staff were really good but due to the way this place works she could not have anyone with her when been put under or when she woke up witch is very stressful for her and my self after she had been observed ready to leave she was told she could leave and was left to wait a long time and one of the nurses became really rude because she wanted to get out of there when picking her up this nurse was then really rude to my self not even talking to me when collecting her needs to work on her manners if you don’t like your job maybe look at other work and the fact that patients carnt have someone to support them needs looking at ....
