It has been some time since my last visit to a dentist. As I had recently moved to Holland Park West, I chose Speedental and arranged an appointment with Simon. I am always a little bit anxious as I have been a Type 1 diabetic for almost 50 years and this has the potential to complicate dental procedures. I can honestly say, I have never had such an exceptional experience dealing with my dental health. Reception (tick), the calm waiting room (tick), total professionalism (tick), Simon's manner which gave me complete peace of mind and a sense of trust which is of paramount importance (tick) , Amber's knowledge and understanding as she ensures comfort during the process (tick), I had a lengthy appointment and required anaesthesia - the outcome was a pain free experience with people I had met for the first time who all ensured I was comfortable and not anxious. Sarah is a wonderful, kind receptionist and you feel welcome from the first phone call, to the welcome at the door and all the way through to the end. She is awesome. Dr Simon has been my dentist for both me and my daughter and he is incredibly professional, straight to the point, caring and explains everything thoroughly and all the way through every consultation. I started going to Speed Dental a few years ago when I needed major work done on my front tooth after an injury. I was given immediate first-class care! I feel totally safe and confident in Dr Speed's care and everyone who works there. My teeth are in the best condition they have ever been!

I highly recommend this dentist. I have been going to Speed Dental for many years, initially for complicated processes and now for ongoing check-ups and cleaning. Dr Speed at Speed Dental is a fantastic dentist. I am a very nervous patient but he puts me at ease and I feel very confident with his care. I have had crowns done previously at other dentists over the years which I found to be a horrible experience but with Dr Speed and his new technology it was so easy and quick. Gone are the days when a visit to the dentist is scary! I totally recommend Dr Simon and the team at Speed Dental. Simon is meticulous, friendly and flexible in his approach. His Dental assistants/technicians follow suit whereby you always feel like you are in capable hands - because you are! I visited your practice as a support person for my friend who was having a dental treatment. I was Absoutely mortified at the lack of professionalism by the older lady with grey/white hair behind the desk she was talking with a mouth full of food and displaying a lack of consideration for others whilst talking loudly on her mobile phone. 7 years later and i'm still haunted by the fact Dr Speed told me I had a big nose while I sat in his chair. As a young woman in her 20s, it made me very depressed and it's something that still affects me to this day. To make matters worse, he proceeded to then brag about his money and his Porsche. This dentist has also failed to help my mother with her halitosis, causing her to have very bad breath. She never used to have that issue prior to seeing Dr Speed. She has been a years-long patient with him, spending thousands of dollars, and the problem seems to be getting worse, not better. I was blown away by it actually as you don't get that service much these days unfortunately. Simon Speed and the whole team are simply amazing… Not just a dentist but have a genuine care and very professional approach to all their patients… Simon went way above and beyond to save some of my remaining teeth he just never gave up he just continued working until he was happy with the result…. Very friendly staff and efficient, skilled dentists.

Such a bad dentist experience! Dr speed was supposed to take some teeth out of the back but wen I woke up he had chipped my front porcelain and denied he ever did! Bad person!

The entire team at Speed Dental made the experience so much easier and calm. They were friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I’ll be trusting them with my dental care from now on.

I don't even know where to begin. My mum sold the family home to pay $18,000 and more just to fix my front teeth and we were told the new ones would be screw in so would never come out. Give it a few months and my front teeth broke (snapped off). I was told by another dentis that they weren't screw in at all but only capped. It completely shattered my self esteem and I can't smile confidently anymore. They're now glued in and at risk of breaking again but it'll cost $20,000 to fix and I'm on the disability pension so can't afford $5 let alone $20,000. 😭😭😭... (Show more)
