Smile.Up - Lagoa

I had a wonderful experience with Smile.Up and Antonio, who always found a solution at the last minute, and recently Alice, my braces dentist. I didn't want to do root canals. Dr. Alice said she would rather lose money and the clinic will pay me everything for the device rather than give me problems. Warning me that one day I might wake up and lose my tooth. Good service. Friendly people.

Bad experience! I was a user of ‘Smile-up’ for a long time, where I spent significant amounts of money (including 2 crowns in which one of them caused me a serious infection!), treated by another professional and in another clinic in the area in question. Unacceptable waiting time. Manager (an individual called António) very unfriendly who didn't even have the politeness or kindness to greet. Total disorder and incompetence! To have an x-ray (or CT scan?) I was sent to the clinic in Faro as they, incomprehensibly, do not perform this test in Lagoa. I had a tooth situation that took me to the Lagoa facility 3 times in the past (ON THE SAME DAY!) as there was no competence to detect what was happening and, in effect, at least mitigate the pain at the intolerable time! In the office where he was usually attended to, there was always a fly (a pet?), which reveals little care for the hygiene of the place. Fortunately, not everything was terribly bad and I would like to highlight the competence and dedication of Dr. Andrès, as well as the friendliness of the receptionist Susana. On holiday in the Algarve we found our daughter had not brought enough elastic bands for her invisalign braces - the receptionist at this clinic was immediately helpful, and even gave us a packet for free. Great support!

Friendly and available team. They got me an appointment the same day for an emergency… I recommend it and I know where to go in case of emergency and beyond.

Yesterday one of my brackets was loose so we went to smile.up and when I told what happened they immediatly helped me and it was finished in under 5 minutes. They were really nice and overall I was just really happy about Smile.up. Thank you very much! Sarah 13

We wife was having pain in her teeth so needed to see a dentist quickly. She got an appointment within a day. Everyone was very professional and spoke good english. We will definitely recommend to our friends and use as our dentist going forward.
