I had an appointment at 10:00. And when I get there they tell me they changed at 12 o'clock. Very bad service

I called the clinic to make an appointment and find out the prices for a restoration. Unfortunately, they do not provide this type of information over the phone so I had to make an initial appointment to present me with a treatment plan (not for what I was asking for but for what they considered necessary). The day before the appointment they called to confirm it. I went to the clinic on the scheduled day and time to carry out the initial consultation to evaluate the treatment and was told that we would have to reschedule it. Without any kind of justification or even the slightest empathy for the inconvenience caused by my useless trip. I chose not to give Smile Up a second chance and not to reschedule my appointment for two reasons, on the one hand because I suspect a company that, being linked to the healthcare sector, insists on not being transparent regarding its price list and adopts a strategy aggressive commercial that overrides the interests of its patients. On the other hand, if they don't even deign to notify patients in time when they cancel appointments, it also demonstrates the company's priorities, and clearly I don't want to have to go through the same thing again. Finally, there was another aspect that really caught my attention in the midst of all this and that has to do with a clear lack of interest and professionalism on the part of the company when it responds with the same message to all the negative reviews left here by its employees (e.g. )customers (hopefully this message of mine will be no exception).... these guys are inept thugs who shouldn't be in business. Fully explaining all the mistakes they made on my implant would take pages. they fully admitted what they did wrong but told me I would have to sue them before they would do anything to fix it. I have a hole in my jaw and I need a bone graft if I want to have another implant. The Smile.Up team What an absolute joke. I spend thousands of euros on you. You replace it 3 times in less than three months and ruin an implant that I've had for 8 years. You leave me without the ability to have another implant without a bone graft. So you send this joke reply. Try to improve what a joke all your dentists are inept. I should have known I saw three different ones. The only thing you're good at is avoiding responsibility. Your dentist admitted to causing damage to my teeth and also performing a procedure that I explicitly told them not to do. When I sought resolution, you offered to return the thousands of euros I spent on you. No. Did you offer to have a competent dentist fix the work? No. You simply said that the only way we can resolve the situation is if you sue us in court. He then also pointed out that the Portuguese legal system was very slow and ineffective. This sounds like a well practiced exercise and I can only imagine how many other people you have done this. Ruining people's teeth and then telling them to sue you because they won't get anywhere is not cool. You guys shouldn't be in business. Took my daughter here after she has a loose tooth bleed while eating. They took her with short notice and did an extraction and were very patient and careful with her. Very reasonable price too.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Smile.up dental clinic in Portimão because of a broken tooth and my experience was absolutely positive. From the moment I entered, I was warmly welcomed by the reception team, who were extremely professional and helpful. The doctors and assistants were equally impressive, demonstrating a high level of competence and attention to detail. I left the clinic feeling welcome and well taken care of. Unfortunately, I arrived at Portimão with a bad toothache. Then I went to Smile up for a visit and found out how lucky I was. Dr. Martins visited me and told me how to proceed with the care of the tooth. I never expected so much gentleness, availability and humanity for an unimaginable price. If I stayed longer, I would have done some implants with Dr. Martins and his staff. Once again a big thank you!! Claudia

Be careful, they're insisting on paying the whole plan upfront, if you resign from part of the services, you won't see your money for 30-60 days.

Worst service, incompetent specialists, only think about selling services. I was trying to align my teeth, they sold me the transparent braces, then they made the braces just for the lower part with just 10 treatments +/- 3 months, they started to wear down my teeth to get them aligned until I saw that everything was wrong . I went to another clinic and they told me that I didn't need wear and tear and my case is quite simple and they advised another treatment because the treatment they are doing is quite wrong. At this point they don't want to return the money. I gave the director 2 weeks to give me an answer, she didn't respond for 3 weeks and now she's gone on vacation. They don't even want to know about my case and they say I'm wrong because I don't go to treatments. I don't recommend this clinic by any stretch of the imagination.... (Show more)
