In 2002, Dr. Tey established SmileMakeOver Dental Aesthetics & Implant Center where she currently practices as the Chief Dentist/CEO. Smile MakeOver is the only dental office north of Metro Manila that is fully digital with an in-house dental laboratory, CAD/CAM technology and CBCT scanning. As a passionate learner, Dr. Tey continually educates herself for the betterment of her many satisfied patients. Also dubbed as “Dr. No Pain” by her patients, it is truly an enjoyable and pleasant dental experience to be treated by Dr. Tey. The very friendly and professional Smile MakeOver staff can deliver first world dentistry with competence and a smile.
I went to Smile Makeover because of the good reviews. I had some work done to replace older crowns. They have clean facilities, friendly staff, decent pricing and are as modern as any U.S. facility. However, when all is said and done I wish I'd gone elsewhere.
Sent inquiries to 3 clinics and received a response only from this clinic The place has a wide parking space, overall it is clean and nice (with free coffee in the waiting area). Not worth the price for the service I availed, my daughter's oral prophylaxis was done manually and definitely not worth the money we paid.
Dental Now that my treatment is finished, I feel constrained to leave a second comment. How is it possible to express the depth of gratitude I feel for the transformation to my mouth and the general sense of well-being I now feel at the hands of the professional team of dentists and their ancillary staff at this practice? The words "thank you" seem so inadequate, but they're all I have. So, a heart-felt "thank you" to everyone. And, for what it's worth, I have numerous friends and acquaintances asking me about my experiences and admiring the results of your work. Dental Crowns All the staff were very professional and courteous. The dentists really took care of my needs and were very careful with the procedures. I was very pleased with the end results. Dr. Diane did a good job with my front tooth. She made me feel very comfortable, and she even sings at times which had put me at ease :) Dr. Tey made sure that everything was perfect, which I highly appreciated. Dr. Nolan was very detail oriented, and Dr. Fe was very kind and careful. I had to go back several times because they had to make a lot of adjustments. Although it wasn't easy to travel from my home town to their office because it was very far, I feel like everything was worth it. I know they could have done better with my lower bridge, but Dr. Tey explained to me exactly what we needed to do to achieve the perfect look, but because of the time conflict, I wasn't able to let them redo everything. Still, I'm very satisfied with all the work that they've done. Results second to none! Price ended up lower than quoted even though more work had to be done than anticipated.
The consultation was courteous and informative as to the range of treatments available. The treatment I had was professionally done and the price was very reasonable. I'll be going back again.
Let me start out by saying that I have a long history of being terrified by the dentist. As a result my teeth were a mess. Several of my teeth were missing and the remaining teeth were basically falling apart. My teeth were an embarrassment. I didn't smile any more. If anyone needed a complete smile makeover it was me. I found Smile Make Over and two other clinics on the internet. I began my correspondence. Smile Make Over was consistently two to three times faster to respond than the other clinics and much more professional. After several weeks of emails, back and forth, it was clear that Smile Make Over would be my choice. I planned my entire trip to the Philippines based on the treatment plan that Dr Tey provided. I flew to the Philippines from Hawaii. I was greeted by very friendly, respectful and warm staff. I felt as if I were a family member. I was so impressed by the cleanliness, organization, and modern equipment. Everything so sparkly clean. The dentists were very happy and friendly. In fact, several of them sang while they worked on me. (Dr Nolan, you might want to keep your day job. Haha) The dental assistants were the best. One in particular (Heidi) was so comforting and soothing. She would pat me on the shoulder when she would see me tense up. This was a distraction that soothed me very well. In fact, on several occasions I actually fell asleep in the chair! This from someone who has been deathly afraid of the dentist since I was nine years old. I now have a smile that I am proud to show off. I smile all the time now. My life has been literally transformed by Smile Make Over. People have actually noticed and commented on my nice teeth. The service was exemplary and very cautious to the extent that blood type and clotting parameters were verified, BP and ECGs taken and full medical checks performed before the surgery. Crowns Service was nothing short of stunning. nothing was any trouble. I knew exactly what was happening and all costs. And..the important part..they would not finish until the end result was at their very high levels of acceptance.
Dr Tey and her staff are lovely. All current patients were even invited to her birthday party which was great fun. I received impartial advice and they juggled schedules and worked very late to a accommodate my relatively short stay. I will return to have the remaining work completed as soon as I am able. Highly recommended.

Complete Dentures I must start by saying that I usually do not take the time to write reviews, but my experience was so great at Smile makeover that I had to write and give my recommendation. I am 42 male from California and wanted to have my smile redone with crowns. I was a teeth grinder and it was time to get the work done. I did alot of research in the US and went to several dentists and got complete exams and reviews. The cost of what I needed done in the US was between 25k to 30k thousand dollars. I was looking for a better option so i researched the Phillipines and thought it would be great take a vacation and at the same time get my teeth done. So I found Smile makeovers website and carefully read all of the positive reviews. I then sent Dr. Tey a personal email about my situation and to my surprise she answered me back the same day. I found Dr. Tey to be extremely knowledgable and no pressure. Over the course of a couple of months we exchanged emails back and forth and became friends. I really developed a great confidence with her. She also eleviated my fears about the quality of work, standard of care and hygiene at her clinic compared to a US dentist. So I finally made my trip and I cant write enough positive things to say about Dr. Tey and her team. I felt like a member of the family. Not only did her standard of care far exceed any dentist that I have been to in the US, the results are amazing and the cost was about the same as I would have paid just for my trip. So I saved a fortune and in my mind got a better result that I would have achieved if I went to any other dentist in the US.I even got a chance to have dinner with her and her team and it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made....
