Dr Alan Chang
Dr Dennis Chang established SmileBright Dental over 14 years ago. His extensive experience, world-class treatments and gentle caring dentistry; make Smile Bright Dental a leading Brisbane dental practice. Dennis graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 1997 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He has a special interest in Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry and has built a reputation on providing exceptional quality restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Chang has a strong belief that quality treatment with long term stability and regular preventative care are the keys to keeping your teeth for life.
Mr Alan Chan
Alan graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Oral Health) from the university of Queensland, Brisbane in 2007. He works with our dentists to promote the idea that "prevention in dentistry is better than intervention". He started his dental career in Rockhampton, where he worked for Queensland Health in the school dental vans for 2 years. He has a passion for dentistry especially children’s dentistry, but also has an interest in periodontal and gum disease treatment. Alan is still striving hard to become a dentist. Outside of work, Alan is a qualified personal trainer and learn to swim teacher. Alan is a cheerful person who loves his sport and is a dedicated team member of SmileBright Dental.
Miss Belinda Slade
Belinda has been working at SmileBright Dental since 2007, she manages the team, but she is on hand to liaise with you through your treatment plan and is available to assist with any questions you may have throughout your treatment. Belinda has the knowledge, expertise and the commitment to ensure your experience with SmileBright Dental is nothing short of exceptional. Away from work Belinda enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 German Shepherds and also following the Brisbane Lions.
SmileBright is an excellently run clinic with all Employees I had communications with being friendly and Professional. Dennis is the Best Dentist I have ever been to.
All staff of Smile Bright are accommodating! And I'm very much blessed with the excellent service rendered by Dr. Yoon Lee together with his amazing assistant. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing people, I am petrified of needles and they made me feel so comfortable and got me through the tears. Talked me through every step, no surprises. Such understanding and kind staff. Would highly recommend ! Will definitely be coming back!
From the minute you walk in your greeted with genuine smiles and coffee. Your presence is welcomed and you have the feeling that you are the only person there. The professionalism is amazing and the comfortability with each person is so refreshing. Jessie and staff are fantastic. What more can I say, Come and check it out for yourselves. Recently finished an appointment with Nelson and Gurleen, two very lovely individuals, shared lots of laughs. They are both proficient at thier job as well as lively, I recommend 100% switching to SmileBright 😊👍🏻

The dentist’s did nothing efficient but charge money. I’m cheated and no change for my painful and sensitive teeth. They even charged a deposit for the next appointment. I definitely canceled the next appointment and never return back again in order to be cheated continually. But it’s such a bad experience to deal with them. They only considered earning more money from patients. The teeth should have been repaired free as the initial treatment failed or returned the payment back because I need to look for treatment again for my teeth. Remember, I will always tell my true story to anyone anywhere I can because I don’t want anyone who is searching for dentists to get the same nightmare as mine.... (Show more)
Dr. Henry Wu was great. He and the staff at SmileBright Dental were really considerate and always checking if I was uncomfortable during the treatment. There was no pain during the procedure and they looked after me very well.
Doctor Ron is excellent. He's always gentle, kind and encouraging as too are his assistants. The admin team at the front desk are always friendly and full of life. I highly recommend Smile Bright!
Growing up I've had terrible dentists, which lead to avoiding them in adulthood. Bedside manner and a little understanding goes a long way, so remember that the next time a child is in your chair. The Dentists I had today made this process so much easier and a lot less painful to the point where the immense amount of relief I felt after my tooth removal nearly had me in tears (and it wasn't due to having the tooth itself removed, that was a relief on its own) as they made this process as painless and as unintimidating as possible. Dr Yoon Lee was very gentle, explained really well and did a thorough job. The clinic has a good ambiance.
This is the best dentist experience I've ever had. Dr Nelson and the whole team have restored my confidence and ease at going to the dentist. Something I used to avoid to now having the best, consistent care I've experienced as an adult!

Made an appointment, changed plans to suit appointment. Only to be told appointment for new patients needs to be an hour. I suggest updating your system to automatically book and hour if you select new patient.

It was my first appointment with SmileBright Dental. The experience was exceptionally positive. I was very nervous with dentists because of my previous experience with other dentists. Dr Henry Wu was very caring, patient and made me feel relaxed. He explained everything with expertise and a smile on his face. During the whole cleaning process, I did not feel any discomfort and Dr Wu stopped several times to check whether I was feeling alright. I received the most gentle yet thorough dental clean I have ever had . I am so glad that Dr Wu and his assistant, who is also very caring, got rid of my fear with dentists.
