Amazing stitcher. He is so very very neat and tidy. One can hardly tell you have been stitched at all.

Veruca Warts can be removed!! To my research, Skin Alert is the only company in Cairns with a special laser machine that removes warts in 1-2 treatments- fast, easy and reasonably priced. I have tried so many treatments over 20 years and sought help from many doctors- nothing worked until now. A brief moment of pain, but so worth it. Only wish I found Dr Candler 20 years ago!! I have had the pleasure of attending Skin Alert for over 2 years now and I am blessed that I have found such a dedicated professional team especially Dr Candler and Nurse Mel. Living in the tropics all my life resulted in a lot of skin damage. Both Dr Candler and Nurse Mel have worked diligently to restore my skin health. ZERO STARS Be cautious they don't ring you at the last minute to tell you they have cancelled your appointment.

We have always been seen promptly when there has been a bad cancer pop up. The best service received from all the staff. Highly recommend for any skin problems.

He did such an incredible job and made me feel at ease throughout- you cannot tell they were ever there. Mel has been amazing to deal with and is very knowledgeable and honest in regard to what treatments would be most beneficial for my skin and what would be a waste of my time and money. I have been seeing Dr Candler for over 15 years. David has always treated me the with the best care making educated decisions when treating my skin concerns. At the age of 28, my very first consultation with Dr Candler, was able to accurately pin point the Melanoma on my back through a galaxy of moles. He educated and advise on my skin type and different cancers/skin conditions. He has been professional and meticulous when mapping/photographing my skin through skin checks, procedures over the years. It was evident my skin condition is at a higher risk and David enabled referrals to other specialist in the Dermatology field when the Vitiligo started. I am very fond of David and the team he has working with him. David is at a high caliber and a great human being dealing with diversity in his specialized field. I saw Dr David today for a full skin cancer check up and a growth removed , absolutely felt at ease and have learnt a great deal now of what I should be looking for, as I’m a roofer in Cairns I’m getting cooked on a daily basis. Booked out until July next year, not taking any new patients, even if you’re local and been there before. Disappointing that this service can’t even take high risk people in for a checkup.

Absolutely disgraceful service, by the main doctor, who is condescending and full of ego. Definitely do not recommend.

Hi, I’ve been attending Skin Alert for about 20 years, always really well looked after and Dr Candler is a marvel at fixing me and the most meticulous stitcher ever!

I had many different laser and cosmetic treatments with Mel and she has always done a fantastic job. My skin feels and looks wonderful for the up and coming Christmas break. Mel will listen and take her time with you. She explains everything to you and completely honest in a polite manner.
