It’s the best!! They know how to heal everything!!! No cap

Very disappointing. Basically just a 500 baht Lanna hammer-style massage you can get in the temples for 150 baht. Stopped by a few days before and was told they integrate various techniques and read your body. Didn't happen. Spoke with the older woman who runs the place and thought I would get her but instead was passed to another person. Hammered most of the hour and my arm fell asleep, which has never happened before. No leg work, just upper body, no usage of "various techniques", just apply tiger balm and hammer away. When I voiced my displeasure, was greeted with a blank stare and a water bottle. The space is cramped and there is a lot going on and lots of talking, so not very relaxing. Think the great reviews are for the classes, most likely. Wish reviewers were more discerning and detailed in their reviews so as to be more helpful. Save your money and go to the temples. Nothing special here and no emphasis on the customer. I have had a very good experience studying oil, head and foot massages at Sirichan massage center. I stayed there for 10 days and loved it! Great teachers and very good atmosphere.

Before posting this review I waited more than a week with my bad feelings about this Clinic hoping it would pass as it usually does, when they did not go away I decided to write them & ask what happened, why I was treated so poorly. I want to make clear they instantly wrote back & were very apologetic. They explained they had forgotten to put me on the schedule & if there was anything they could do to fix it. I said it is too late for me but to please make sure it does not happen to another person. Please if you go make sure it is confirmed more than once because I confirmed twice & was still not on the schedule. I do not like to leave poor reviews but I think people should be cautioned & make their decisions to go here accordingly. This place does have many good reviews so read those as well. I reached out based on reviews & research. After many years of dealing with a deeply personal problem. I tried medical & psychological (nothing wrong). I tried spiritual healing & then was told I should try the famous “Thai Karasi Massage” for women, that Chang Mai was the very best place to do it. I got the courage to ask for help & told them deeply personal things. They wrote back with a time on the one day I told them I could be in Chang Mai City. I was told “The assessment and treatment are done by Dr Nooy herself. The price is normally 5,000 THB, but it can go up to 8,000 THB according to each case. We can have you assessed” I thought this meant assessed for the price, it did not occur to me that she would not treat me. I would have booked someone else. When I arrived, they told me “wait outside” as they were taking pictures with students who just completed a course. I did not mind waiting as they all seemed very happy. Then the doctor “saw” me by showing a nice students I was the perfect example of “an egg- like hard bone- feel, feel” on my abdomen around the area of my woumb without explaining what that meant. Then she shrugged her should & said “it’s emotional” in the most dismissive way. She also said “I had too much fascia on my back”. What does too much fascia even mean? I am glad that as a medical professional at least I knew what fascia is or she would have worried me even more than she did with the unexplained “egg” comment. She said I needed a regular massage that day because I was tense, of course I was tense it is a very personal treatment. I had a 2 hour deep Thai massage a few days earlier so I did not need another massage. She said I could return the next day because she had to “Go for Chinese New Year”. This & focus on taking pictures of the “Completed Course Students” makes me know she never planned to treat me that day. I became upset because I made so much effort to come & see her since I was leaving the next day. I said “no, I do not want a massage I want the treatment” She then said “ok” so I thought I was getting the treatment. Another lady stared a massage to “loosen my fascia” while I believed I was waiting for her to return & give me the treatment. So I ended up getting a massage that I clearly said “no” to all the while waiting for the treatment like an fool. Then I was told “finished” & charged 1,000 baht. Again, I said no to a normal massage, if she was honest & said she would not treat me that day I would have left. Instead, I ended up leaving feeling cheated & horribly mistreated. I can not even imagine the damage this kind of behavior could cause someone younger or more emotionally vulnerable. I do not recommend this place. I find it incredibly unethical. This is not a place of “healing” for me it was a place of “hurting”. If the Dr has decided to prioritizing teaching healers that can then go on to heal many around the world over healing individuals this is a beautiful decision but it should be clarified. Call it a “Healing School” Instead of a “Clinic”. Make it clear on the site & e-mails to prevent individual people like me from experiencing what I did. Dr Nooy and her team are magic! My partner and I went in twice for different massages and were both worked on by Dr Nooy and other practitioners and OMG!! Years of tension were massaged away in the most gracious manner, I highly recommend this place... Keep up the excellence!

For a very different and intensive Thai massage experience I really recommend Sirichan clinic. Staff are very kind and experienced, but it's a clinic not a spa, so don't expect a relaxing spa experience. They worked on some of my long term shoulder and back issues with great results! Thank you

I 100% recommend the massage classes, which are done in a warm way in small groups, with the emphasis on feeling, to be able to understand and adapt to the needs of each patient. I studied thai massage for three weeks with Nooy here and learned so much about the body and traditional Thai massage. Nooy is an amazing masseur and excellent teacher! She really has a healing touch. It’s clear that all the masseurs at this clinic hold an extensive amount of knowledge. A life-changing experience! The 10-day course at Sirichan was worth every moment. I'm excited to start my career as a Thai massage therapist.

I was a complete beginner, but Sirichan's instructors made me feel at ease. I'm now confident in my Thai massage abilities.

I had an incredible time at Sirichan! The one-week course was hands-on, and I can't wait to apply what I've learned.

I knew the Sirichan Clinic and Thai massage school in Chiang Mai when I took the Thai massage course for 3 weeks back in 2019. I was immediately amazed by the traditional Thai medicine that Dr. Nooy practiced, her deep knowledge of the body and her warmth and respect for all of it, and for her patients. So when I came back to CM this time I couldn't wait to ask her about a burning pain I had on my breast. At some spots it felt as hard as a rock and the lightest brush would make me want to cry. I couldn't, for instance, lay face down or jump. Dr Nooy just needed her hands for a very accurate diagnose and also for the treatment, which I won't say wasn't a little bit painful, but definitely worth it. After two sessions the pain was almost completely gone and my life went back to normal, which only reinforced my respect and admiration for this caring doctor. I will forever be thankful.... Okay, so the massages at Sirichan Clinic with Dr. Nooy are not your run-of-the-mill spa experiences. They're sometimes intense, no doubt, but I've never felt such relief. It's like they've cracked the code for chronic pain.

Let's be real, I've tried so many therapies, and I was a bit hesitant about Sirichan Clinic. But Dr. Nooy's approach is unique, a bit challenging, yet surprisingly effective. It’s a lready my third visit to her clinic. I have had stomach massage as well as Tok Sen and Amatarot. All these were totally new to me. And my chronic pain? It's finally taking a back seat.... Dr. Nooy at Sirichan Clinic doesn't mess around with your typical massages. Her treatments are a bit different, a bit challenging, but they've made a real difference for my chronic issues. Grateful for the find.

Excellent experience! I took the 4 week Thai massage course at sirchan, and I'm amazed at how much I learned. The instructor are incredibly knowledgeable.

I was skeptical at first, but Dr. Nooy's treatments at Sirichan Clinic are something else. They're not your usual massages, a bit challenging, but my chronic pain has significantly improved. It's refreshing to finally find something that works.

Friendly and professional staff. The courses are well-structured, and I left feeling confident in my Thai massage skills.

Like most exceptional things, no written review can truly describe the wonderful Dr. Nooy and her school / clinic, but I'll try. Whether you come to her for knowledge or for healing, you'll get both. You will meet an incredibly powerful and precise healer, along with a patient, compassionate and a very passionate teacher with what seems like an unlimited amount of traditional knowledge. I have been at the clinic for 2 or 3 weeks before Covid and I always wanted to go back. I had such a good time there - learned so much, enjoyed spending time with such a wonderful person like Nooy, so much inspiration and warmth. That´s not the end - we will see each other again :-) Kirsten
