It was ok but not great
I see Becky for a massage here regularly, and have done for years, and it's fantastic! Including pregnancy and post natal and hot stone. Can't recommend Becky enough.
Had a great haircut at Shine today - my hairdresser was Marius who listened to what I wanted, but also made his own suggestions. I last visited here more than 15 years ago when I lived nearby. Really happy that Shine is still around and I'll definitely be back.
Went for massage with Beth who was amazing. She listened to what I needed. Have had many underwhelming massages but she did back, arms and head releasing tension and left me feeling brilliant. Would highly recommend when you feel in need of some care.
Loved Benedetta and the davines products.
On more than one occasion I have made a hair apt here and it’s been cancelled at short notice - really unprofessional.
Knocking stars off for recent bad experiences, including a haircut that was confirmed over email which actually wasn't booked in (wasted trip to a difficult part of town to get to, with no real apology). I've come here for both massages and haircuts (cut'n'colour). It's very clean, with a tray of mini-pastries at the weekend, a great selection of fashion and design mags, and the staff are universally friendly. Angela, who does my hair, is lovely, and seems to really get what I'm after - I usually leave feeling great, with my long straight hair how I want it. Also sells Aveda products, although these tend to be pricey.... (Show more)
Went for a massage - excellent. Skilled practitioner who responded to my needs. Went back for a haircut. Both times, text and email alerts were gratefully received. Smiley, helpful staff. Excellent haircut, friendly attitude, good chat! I'll be back.
I have been going there since the last two years, I love this local place as their team is lovely, the practitioners are amazing ( I had great treatment and some help me recover after injuries) and the prices are really decent.
I have been going here for nearly ten years because they offer superb services at extremely reasonable prices. I would also say they also go above and beyond for their clients. Have been going here for years and the ladies are lovely and the services always a high standard. Sad that so many had to leave because of the pandemic and brexit but still keeps a good quality and it’s a great local place.
Good hairdresser
Only shopped here the shampoos and had a massage here (with Beth) who was excellent!
Have had a few good haircuts here over the years by stylists who have seemed to left, but yesterday’s was the worst cut I’ve had for £70 and all I wanted was a trim.. sadly wont be returning.

Great services but unfortunately have to mark down for totally over the top Covid practices. Asking patrons to use a new, disposable mask is extremely wasteful and unnecessary. Taking temperature was also deemed inaccurate ages ago for knowing if someone has Covid. I’m mostly concerned about the excess waste though.... (Show more)
Great salon, fantastic hair dressers and very safe covid rules.
My first time visit to the salon. Unfortunately, it was a very lukewarm experience. The receptionist deserves 5* as as she very kind, welcoming and generally attentive. Sadly, my hairstylist had no opinions on his own. I came in to discus my new colour and hear what he thinks about it. He didn’t even checked my hair quality, structure, the colour before wash. No comb through to see the scalp. He had nothing to say. Nothing to recommend me. There was no discussion. Not even bloody shampoo to offer me. I was so willing to spend money and have a finally done some rewarding treatment after hard work. He was nice and polite, don’t take me wrong but I expect from the stylist a bit of creativity, opinions and advises through my visit. I was not even offered a water no he did not massage my head which I was so looking forward to it (that was the worst of all). He did a decent cut but blow dry was a bit boring. I wanted a nice volume but received just a generic blow dry (picture is taken right after visit). It was a bit rushed (salon wasn’t busy). Just nothing special. I would not recommend it. There was no difference between £25 cut in Turkish hair salon or this £69 one.... (Show more)
Fantastic cut, they really took the time to work out what I wanted. The setting and ethics are also wonderful. Everything has been really researched and planned.
