Extremely friendly staff with a cooperative and respectful tone towards each other and the patient. Advice and examinations in a relaxed atmosphere and easy to understand, questions are answered in detail, and as a patient I feel safe and taken seriously. The disadvantage is that there is no ban on cell phones and with a waiting time of 4 hours, several patients were sometimes making phone calls or chatting via VideoCal at the same time. Even when I asked not to, fellow patients made fun of the person they were talking to on the other side at my expense. The background noise of the constantly running air conditioning (due to the lack of windows that could be opened) is also very, very annoying and is only surpassed by the techno music from 1 Life in the background, which sounds together with the air conditioning. This too could not be remedied when I asked; I was told it was a “data protection measure”. But those on the phone simply spoke louder. Given that the clientele of such a practice is, on average, older than the 1Life audience, perhaps telephone calls should either be banned or switched to classical radio.... (Show more)

I had Lasik for vision in February 2024 and am more than satisfied with the result. The professionally competent information and implementation before and during the operation gave me a good and safe feeling. I also felt very cared for by the staff in the operating room. It was the right step! To everyone who asked me whether the operation was unpleasant or painful, I could only answer: Teeth cleaning is 100 times more unpleasant. Perfect organization in advance, no long waiting times, everyone knew what they had to do and my LASEK operation for both eyes only took 7 minutes. 7 minutes that have improved so many things in everyday life. After the operation I received a stick with the video of the operation on it. You really can't work more transparently!!! An expert who gives me his excellent work “as proof” on a USB stick shows me that I am dealing with the best. People who know what they can do and don't make mistakes. You shouldn't save money, especially when it comes to eyes and vision. Ultimately, it's about my eyesight. I really only let the best ones do it. I can only recommend Vision in Cologne. Another eye clinic saw no possibility of Lasik due to my high myopia. I'm glad I got a second opinion about vision because they didn't see any problems. During my training to become an optician, I was able to get to know Mr. Maus's beautiful vision center on Neumarkt in Cologne as part of the ZVA summer school in Knechtsteden. Back then we had the honor of being able to watch cataract surgery. As a trained optician but less passionate about wearing glasses, I was already aware that sooner or later I would find myself as a patient in his practice. Mr. Maus and his team work hand in hand at the highest level, equipped with the latest technology, to precisely measure the eyes and are considered experts in their field throughout the industry. The procedure was painless and, above all, much quicker and less complicated than you think. By the time of the follow-up examination the following day, I had already achieved the same visual performance as before with glasses. A few weeks ago I had a Lasik treatment at the Cologne Vision Eye Center and was completely satisfied with the preliminary examination, treatment and follow-up care. The non-binding and free preliminary examination was more extensive than I have ever experienced with an ophthalmologist. So I didn't think for a minute about getting another opinion or looking at another practice. The entire team at the Sehkraft Eye Center exudes calm and professionalism, which is particularly good just before, during and after the treatment and takes away any excitement. Many thanks to the entire team! After the Lasik I still had questions and uncertainties, and I was immediately given an appointment for a follow-up examination. So all in all a great service! My eyes still have to get used to the new way of seeing, but I was also prepared for this in the preliminary discussions. The only thing I'm wondering is why I didn't get lasered sooner ;)... After much trepidation, I finally decided in October to have my eyes examined by Dr. To have the mouse lasered in the eye center. I hesitated for a long time because I imagined an operation on my eyes while I was awake would be very bad. Because of the many positive recommendations from friends and colleagues, I finally decided to take the plunge and am really happy that I took this step. I felt like I was in good hands and looked after at all times. The Sehkraft Eye Center is very well organized, as there is a maximum waiting time of a few minutes between individual examinations. During the examinations, the very friendly staff will always inform you about the purpose of the current examination and provide you with interesting details about the structure of an eye. This also took some of the excitement out of me. Also Mr. Dr. Mouse is very friendly and has an incredibly calming effect. Since I was still a little nervous, I was given a sedative and allowed to sit next to a huge bowl of sweets. Looking back, I can say that I imagined the operation to be much worse. By the evening I could see perfectly and had no pain or burning eyes throughout. My conclusion: I would do it again and again! Extensive and very informative preliminary investigation. Even if you decide against LASIK treatment afterwards, you will still be a lot smarter about your own vision. The atmosphere in the eye center is calm and pleasant; the LASIK treatment is short and absolutely painless. Shortly after the treatment, the aforementioned severe watering of the eyes occurs. I can recommend organizing a companion or someone to accompany you home afterwards, as in retrospect I found it a bit uncomfortable to take a taxi alone and at the end of the taxi ride I could hardly open my eyes despite wearing sunglasses. But I clearly didn't feel any pain, it was more because of the strong glare in the midday light. I then slept for a few hours and woke up with completely clear vision and refreshed eyes. On the 2nd day, a slight headache and the feeling that I needed to rest my eyes a bit. Since then, no complaints and a significantly better quality of life without contact lenses. Best decision in my life! I am eternally grateful for the Lasik surgery! My unjustified fear was taken away from me on the spot. Everyone was very friendly and I received very good advice in advance. While the operation lasted an unbelievable ten minutes, I wasn't afraid for a second. Dr. Maus is a true professional in this field, as he proved to me during the operation, shortly afterwards and with the very good visual results. Thanks again to the incredibly lovely surgery nurse! My eyes have healed very well after the Lasik operation. Today is day 7 after the operation, I no longer need to take eye drops. I have 160% vision!! I had laser surgery 4 weeks ago and am really happy with the decision. I can finally go about my everyday life again without contact lenses and glasses. Many thanks to the great sehkraft team in Cologne, I felt very well looked after and can only recommend the center.

I first had a cataract after a lens operation and then had a vitreous body clouding for almost a year, which was very annoying (dots, drops, blurry spots). Yesterday I had a floater laser treatment carried out at Vision in Cologne because the clouding was simply very restrictive and... was annoying. A day later today I had my eye checked again, everything was fine, no pain, after a day I can almost see unhindered in my eye again and the quality of life is simply back. I can only thank the whole team and Dr. Thank you Mönnink, friendly, courteous and 100% competent. I would go here again at any time and can only recommend it. Thank you...
