Mr Tom Rosier
Physiotherapy is my passion and I strive to help people overcome injury so that they can return to a normal pain free life. I have first hand experience with a debilitating injury (Webber C fracture dislocation of the ankle - leaving my foot pointing in the opposite direction - yes was really painful) which left me immobile, in pain and also with a huge amount of frustration for 5 months. So as well as having the qualifications I can empathise with the pain and frustration you may be experiencing. I hold a degree in Sports Therapy BSc and am a further Masters degree in Physiotherapy (MSc) and have worked alongside many sports teams and have 3 years experience within the within the NHS specialising in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. I currently lead physiotherapy services at The West Berkshire Therapy Centre in Thatcham three days a week which is extremely rewarding. I enjoy rugby and have played for a number of clubs and universities at 1st XV level. My greatest sporting acheivement was competing in the National indoor 60 metres indoor championship. Being a sporting chap and having suffered many injuries I know how you may be feeling and will use my clinical knowledge, personal experience and the latest research to help you through your injury.
Tom was quick to identify my problem and gave me a comprehensive exercise/stretching regime that seems to have put me on the road to recovery. Only time will tell but so far so good. Much more focussed than another physio I had seen previously.
If you're serious about taking your movement to the next level then Tom definitely comes highly recommended. I've had 3 sessions and daily aches and pains are much improved, breathing and core are a lot tighter and Tom gives a great list of exercises to do at home after each session, tailored not just to the session work, but to any new activities I'm doing in the coming weeks. Above all, Tom's professionalism and easy going nature make the appointments not just beneficial but fun and engaging, and he takes time to explain things in a way that works for you. Very knowledgeable and advanced methods
Tom Rosier has a fantastic breadth of knowledge, excellent empathy and a highly professional approach to solving physiotherapy challenges. Brilliant all round! Dom is an excellent physio coach and has helped me enormously, a fantastic complement to Tom. Tom’s physio exercise mini videos are a fantastic resource. My experience with Tom has been nothing short of excellence. I was diagnosed with Piriformis syndrome & had hampered my left leg movement completely with agonising pain. Adding to this was the pandemic & trying to get a in person appointment was not straight forward. Tom assessed me on a zoom call understood me & after the Covid screening conducted sessions at his studio. What can I say , his approach towards the person & tailoring the exercises based on your ability was phenomenal. I was in good hands & have completely recovered my my situation. Thanks a ton Tom.... Tom is a professional. He knows what he’s talking about and helped me massively not only in identifying my running injury itself, but also the underlying cause. He created a programme of rehab which was tailored to me and which best improved strength to make the likelihood of reoccurrence as low as possible. I have worked with Tom for over 6 years and with both Tom and Jo as a team for nearly 18 months. I can't say enough to the good for these guys, their holistic approach to correcting my body (not just the injury) has been unquestionably superb, professional and fun. Tom is extremely professional. I've had different sport injuries over the past few years. He has done an excellent job to pinpoint the root cause and to provide stretching and muscle reinforcement programs tailored to my needs. I can't recommend highly enough!

I cannot recommend Rosier Physio enough for injury rehab or ongoing mobility issues. I had a great experience with Tom and have heard the same from everyone who's worked with him. After an ankle injury that left me on crutches I had no idea if I was recovering effectively. From being quite active beforehand, this was incredibly frustrating and added extra worry into the process. From the first consultation, the way Tom so clearly pinpointed and explained the issues and contributing factors before running through my first set of exercises removed so much of that concern. I went into my first session on crutches, and (slowly) walked out holding them. For the ongoing treatment between sessions Tom loads your exercise program onto the PhysiApp which was a great way of tracking and staying committed to recovery. By the end of my treatment I was completing mobility exercises that I wouldn't have even tried before my injury and have learnt a lot about other positive changes I can make to my exercise and mobility beyond addressing the initial problem. Tom is very knowledgeable and professional. After having a total hip replacement, he has been helping me (literally!) to get back on my feet, build my strength and has given me the confidence to go back to the gym. He has made himself available when I had questions or needed advice and I shall continue with my therapy. I would thoroughly recommend him and his team. I have used Rosier Physio on numerous ocasions when one of our boys at school has had an injury or issue with joints etc and have always recieved a superb service. I will continue to use their services in the future and highly recommend them.
Tom is an awesome physio. I have had many sports injuries and been treated by many physios, and Tom is one of the best. Tom looks at the whole body and gave me the confidence to do physical exercises I have not done for years. 100% recommendation.

I’ve worked with Tom and Jo for 5 months and can honestly say that I am stronger and more aware of my body than ever before. Tom was recommended to me to help with strength issues in my left leg, which were preventing me from reaching my running goals. After an initial consultation, followed by ViMove Analysis, Tom prepared a series of movements and exercises for me to undertake, which were detailed and demonstrated in PhysiApp. I see Tom for regular consultations and reassessments, and continue to adjust the App to ensure the program is optimised to me. I see Jo weekly for individual strength training sessions. Every week is different to the last, and Jo continuously challenges me. Tom and Jo’s knowledge and support has helped me to meet and success my running goals, taking significant chunks out of my 5k, 10k and 1/2 marathon times. The road to recovery can be long with many set backs along the way, having exhausted many different types of therapy I now understand their place. From the onset Tom would listen to what my challenges are and help coach me through it. Stay focused and do the stretches Tom advises you WILL see results. At my lowest a year ago I was lying on the side of the road in the snow screaming with back pain, fast forward now I’m able to do most of the things I love including quality time with the family. I might not be power-lifting again and have to re-align my expectations a little however here I’m doing 95% of the things I love. Granted Tom may formally be my Physio, however he has done so much more for me and my family. Thank you Tom, the old saying behind every-man is a great women.... (Show more)
