Upper eyelid correction and eyebrow lift A few weeks ago I went to Haaglanden Clinics for an eyelid correction in combination with an eyebrow lift. This was recommended and I am very happy with my choice of this clinic and plastic surgeon Nicole Krekel. During the intake I received expert advice, everything was explained calmly and clearly and I felt very comfortable. From reception at reception to the intake itself. A very pleasant experience. A week after the intake I was able to go for the treatment itself. Once again a nice welcome. The treatment itself was not too bad and Nicole explained what was going to happen at every step. The after-treatment was also explained again, after an extensive explanation during the intake and information brochure that I received. After 45 minutes the treatment was finished and I could already catch a glimpse of the result. Then we went home satisfied! The recovery went beyond expectations. Only swelling, but no discoloration during the healing process. After a few days it already looked fantastic. After 1 week I was allowed to return to remove the stitches. This was also done very skillfully. What a fantastic result and that after just 1 week. Now a few weeks later and already beautifully healed. Those around me who did not know about this treatment would never say that I had an eyelid correction done. Very beautiful, natural and expertly done. Definitely a beautiful result that exceeded expectations! So for anyone who wants an (upper) eyelid correction and/or eyebrow lift, I highly recommend this clinic!... (Show more)

Beware of the unexpected costs of this sleep study (sleep apnea) A consultation costs 136 euros and the test itself costs 636. You are not told this clearly. So think twice before doing such an investigation with them.

Had a number of spots removed by a plastic surgeon and the treatment was great, very fast, well explained, good aftercare. Very friendly staff, very hygienic. All in all really top service!

I advise every person to visit this place if they are waiting to experience a horrific experience! Came here after being directed by my dentist since my root canal treatment was’t successfully going as plan. First of all the receptionist at the desk was mildly friendly since I had forgotten my referral note they still let the consultant meeting be maintained. Second, the assistant who’ve escorted me into the room was also mildly friendly. By viewing my Xray and showing some kind of interest to solve the problem. At last when the “Doctor” finally came in the room. I’ve experienced the most unfriendly service I’ve ever received in my life in the medical field. Something I wasn’t expecting at all in my situation. Without even saying a hi or introducing himself in any kind of way, he firmly demanded the referral note as the first thing he was asking me. So I kindly replied to him that I had forgotten the referral note and had told that to the receptionist at first (what I had thought was already solved). For approximately 10 minutes I was having a heavy discussion with this so called “Doctor” about a referral note instead of the root of the issue. It seemed he more so cared about his own pockets than helping the clients in any way. I advise everyone to not go to this place, they are extremely unprofessional and wasted my time and effort.... I had to have two wisdom teeth pulled on March 22nd. I have a low pain threshold and was very nervous. Everything was explained to me well and it took a very short time. I had 0x pain until recovery and no swelling at all. I am extremely pleased with how things turned out and am even looking forward to having the other two wisdom teeth extracted here.... (Show more)

Great help today from Dr. van Ginkel and assistant Patries. 3 molars had to be pulled. Since I have developed a great fear of dentists due to a very bad experience somewhere else in the past, after which I have not been to the dentist for a number of years, I was dreading this appointment. Both doctor and assistant made me feel at ease, the anesthesia was so well administered that I really had no pain at all and the molars were removed in no time. It was nice that everything that was going to be done was told. Patries also distracted my attention from the treatment with breathing exercises. I was given a cool pack to hold against my jaw and the swelling did not occur. These types of treatments will never be fun, but I am happy to have experienced how it can be done... For my next treatment I would like to return to this clinic and preferably to Dr. van Ginkel and Patries. Thank you for the good care and reassurance.... (Show more)

Basically a good experience with this clinic. At the end of last year I suffered a lot from 1 wisdom tooth. Of course I tried to keep it clean, but in the meantime it had already broken off. I never actually gave myself time to go to the dental surgeon because I was quite dreading it. In addition, I had also read a little too carefully and came to the conclusion that removal of the lower wisdom teeth has a small risk of damage to the nerve. Fortunately, I was able to bring the appointment forward twice because I could no longer function normally due to the pain. On the day itself I was still quite dreading it, but fortunately the surgeon, Mr Huisman, was able to put me at ease quite quickly. Every step he performed was well explained and that was pleasant. During the treatment itself, a number of things were also said, but I did not really hear it as the anesthetic was also applied to the palate at the same time. By the way, that is the most annoying part of the procedure. After half an hour I was outside again with 1 wisdom tooth of which a large piece had broken off. 3 hours after the procedure I still had a numb/tingling feeling in the right side of my mouth and tongue, but fortunately that disappeared quickly afterwards. The only downside I would like to mention is that no invoice/invoice was sent by email. I eventually found out what the costs were through my health insurer. Obviously this is quite high for 1 molar, but at least I am freed from the pain.... (Show more)

I am thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise of the surgeon, and all the staff at Haaglanden clinic. I had infection problems with the root canal treatment. The dentist assistant and the secretary helped me a lot, and the surgeon treated the root infections perfectly. Had my wisdom teeth removed today. The experience I had here was great! A very professional friendly team took great care of me. -All the information was clear -the staff was very professional -only took 25 mins for the whole procedure. Can highly recommend anyone to make an appointment here.

Dr.Huisman damaged/cut my lingual nerves while removing the wisdom tooth, I guess I have to deal with it for the rest of my life leaving me with anger and frustration due to negligence of a doctor. The anesthesiologist also sprayed the anesthesia in my mouth which gave a very bad sensation.

Yesterday I went to the emergency dentist at HMC Westeinde because of pain in one of the wisdom teeth. Today I was able to come here to have it pulled out. Since I was present, the dental surgeon thought it would be a good idea to immediately pull out my other two molars. I agreed with that. I was quite nervous and cannot tolerate medical treatments anyway, so I was shaking in the chair. Before I knew it, the dental surgeon had expertly removed all 3 teeth. The anesthetic injections were somewhat irritating, but other than that I didn't have any pain for a second. All in all a great experience and I'm glad I'll never have to deal with those horrible 3rd molars again. Big 5 stars 🤩... (Show more)

Earlobe reduction. On Tuesday, November 7, I took the step and had my earlobes reduced. It had been annoying me for a while. If I wore heavy earrings my earlobes would drop to my shoulders 😊. I don't understand why I didn't have it done years ago in this beautiful modern clinic. You will feel at home from intake to post-treatment. You hardly feel the injection to anesthetize you and the procedure itself was a breeze, everything was done within half an hour. The plastic surgeon was great, the staff was very sweet and the explanation before and during the procedure was clear and concise. I had holes pierced again in my new earlobes and I can't wait until I can go wild wearing nice earrings and no longer that small light earring because then it would still look something!! I recommend it to everyone. On to “Haaglanden Clinics at Nieuwe Parklaan 11 in The Hague!!!!! It sounds strange but I would say, let yourself be pampered because that's what it felt like. Had a great experience at the clinic. I was pretty nervous about dual extraction. But it was done in less than 5 mins and I could eat solid food the same night: Its been a week now and my gums are almost healed. I totally recommend this place.

This clinic doesn't even deserve 1 star. Four years ago I had my wisdom teeth pulled out here. I experienced this very traumatically. I didn't want to think about them anymore, but they still owe this review. After pulling it out I was in terrible, terrible pain. Jaw and cheek were both swollen and swollen (but in a way that is NOT normal after having my molar pulled out!!!) This was clearly visible from the outside. What made it worse, I called them every day for a week to make an appointment, but they didn't answer! They were inaccessible and it seemed as if they had disappeared from the face of the earth! In the meantime I could not eat or drink, because everything inside my mouth hurt. I was home sick for over two weeks, flat on the couch or pacing in pain! I had a one-year-old child at the time and it was terrible how I was doing at the time. Fortunately, after a week I was able to make an appointment and during the check-up it turned out that it was an infection! I immediately had to take antibiotics and rinses. I no longer trusted the female doctor who had helped me, I no longer trust the entire practice. My jaw is still numb and swollen inside 4 years later and it still hurts every now and then. In the meantime, I have also been to the jaw physiotherapist a few times and my dentist has referred me to a Gnathologist, unfortunately neither can help me and I have to live with a numb jaw that hurts very often during the week. Now I have to have my wisdom teeth pulled out on the other side, but because of this trauma and fear I am unable to get myself to make an appointment elsewhere. Never here again!... (Show more)

Very pleasant clinic. Dr. van de Loo and his team guided and treated me so well. I came in with a lump on my tongue. It could be removed immediately, great. The aftercare is also good. A big 10 for this team, thank you.
