Ravat and Ray Dental Practice - Ormskirk

My appointment went well, I was given advice as no physical treatment was needed along with some medication to deal with my complaint with options that may be called upon in the future.

Really good got a phone call thus morning to see if I could come earlier which was great very good explanation from dentist of what I needed and given the choice very nice staff and dentist went in on time can't grumble. Been again this afternoon 9th August 2023 for a fitting on my bottom plate no waiting tried the plate wants me back in 2 weeks to see how it's settled really nice and helpfull staff Been today 26th Jan 2024 Nothing changed from my last visit new dentist really nice explained everything See you in 12 month's Been on the 23 Rd of Feb due to lost filling rang for appointment on the Monday receptionist asked if I was in pain r any problems I said no and got the appointment dentist was very nice and helpfull along with dental nurse its a pleasure to go to the dentist... Absolutely pleased with my treatment. Dentist was pleasant and patient with me and put me at ease. Cannot fault and have been there for many years.

New dentist I've seen today who was polite, friendly and very consise with her instructions re my teeth and gum care needs. The hygienist and support staff also need a mention, as they are always pleasant and happy, it a absolute pleasure to go, even though it is "The Dentist"

Booked a hygienist appointment over the phone, was told there are three tiers: bronze, silver and gold. Opted for a silver one for £79.99 plus an optional AirFlow extra for £22, and they took a £30 deposit with the remainder to be paid on the day. I don't know if they do any NHS work, but this is a private route, and I told them I didn't need to see a dentist, only a hygienist, and that I've never been to this practice before. They took my details and said it was fine. On the day, when I arrived a few minutes before the appointment, another receptionist tells me I cannot have a silver service, because I've never been to this practice before and blames the first receptionist for booking me in for it. She says I must instead have something called "Direct Access" which costs more. I felt cheated in a scammy bait & switch tactic and refused to pay anything on top of what was agreed on the phone out of principle - because I believe business agreements should be honoured. They apologised, but refused to budge and turned me down. Said they will refund my deposit in 5-10 days. Not only did they waste my time, they lost themselves over £100 of fees turning a patient minutes before the time slot, and potentially lost themselves repeat custom. All due to their own mistake and stubbornness. So be it, I'll get my teeth cleaned elsewhere.... (Show more)

I really wanted my teeth fixed today. Someway towards improvement. Like my hair trim yesterday into a classic Bob. Nothing happened after I cleaned and flossed and mouthwashed but the dentist said I was doing a good job like bringing up twins X.

The receptionists are polite and friendly. My dentist is the best I have ever had, she is so good at putting you at ease. The overall practice is clean and tidy. 10 out of 10 for me.

I came here today 5th October 2023 with my son who has autism and I can't even describe how good the dentist and her helper was with him I needed to write a report because they were soooo good with him he absolutely loved it (he's hated dentist all his life) they made us both feel so warm and welcoming everything they did was amazing my son was so happy he said can we go there every week ❤️xxx... From being greeted by the receptionist to the dentist and her assistant, all were very friendly and if you're nervous about going to the dentist then this is the dental practice for you. The dentist numbed me up and I didn't feel the needle going in,she told me what she was going to do and why. I would have no problem recommending Ravat & Ray dental practice.... (Show more)
