Dr Conor Irwin
Dr Conor Irwin qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1987 and spent 10 years in general practice in the South of England. On his return in 1998 he set up Ratoath Dental Centre and it has developed and grown ever since. Conor’s wife Paula, his father and sister are all dentists so there is a strong tradition of dentistry in his family. Conor has a great interest in all aspects of dentistry but is renowned for his caring approach to children and nervous patients in particular. He has been practising sedation for over twenty years. Cosmetic dental techniques are a major part of his dental practice.
Dr Regina Flanagan
Graduated from the University of Birmingham. Originally from Co. Armagh she is renowned for her friendliness, kindness, patience and her gentle touch when dealing with patients. Regina uses IV sedation where required for very nervous patients. She has a special interest in Restorative dentistry (white fillings, crowns, root treatments etc) and oral surgery. Further post graduate training keeps her up to date with all the latest techniques and ensure painless, high quality dentistry. Regina is also skilled in the use of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections
Dr Paula Irwin
Dr Paula Irwin qualified from Cardiff University in 1991 and was in general practice in Hampshire U.K. for 7 years before moving to Ireland with her husband Conor and their three children. Paula is a very meticulous dentist and has developed a tremendous reputation. Paula has a special interest in Endodontics (Root Canal treatment) and is a member of the Irish Endodontic Society .
i have autism and sensory issues and have always had a huge fear of dentists due to a bad experience, i have never been treated better by any dentist than this dentist, the receptionist is lovely and understanding. my dentist has since left so i am being transferred to a new one and look forward to meeting them.... What a wonderful team to deal with in Ratoath Dental Centre, as an extremely nervous patient even on my consultation visit I was shaking but the minute I met Dr Miriam Kingston I knew I was in good hands. The care and preparation I received prior to my visit for the work needed left me with zero pain. In the day of my appointment I was again very nervous. Miriam calmly went through what was going to happen, and 15 minutes later she was explaining what I needed to do to take care of myself after the work was complete. I couldn’t believe how pain free, no stress and calm it all was, this was mainly down to Dr Miriam and her nurse whose name escapes me (sorry)! I received fantastic implant treatment and results from Dr.s Flavio and Wilson, in short they restored my confidence to smile, many, many thanks. The full team of staff were always friendly and welcoming, and made a trip to the dentist an enjoyable thing.

Absolute joke of a place, current in horrendous pain with a tooth abscess, too the point I can’t really move. on Monday was told by the receptionist that a prescription could be sent to the pharmacy but as of today they won’t because I haven’t been a member of the clinic before. Clear to see that this dentist is only here for the money or the receptionist doesn’t know how to do her job. I visited Ratoath Dental practice just before Christmas as i had pain in my tooth and out of sheer desperation i asked if they could fit me in as an emergency as my regular dentist I've been using was unable to do so. The customer service snd empathy was next to none. I was seen and put on pain killers and antibiotics and yesterday i had two fillings a clean and went home eith my new tooth whitening kit. I highly recommend this place as i was in amd out with a fast service and no discomfort at all during my treatment. Conor carried out the work very efficiently and was a pure gentleman. Ive been a patient for over 10 years.If there was an option to give more stars I would. I am a very nervous reluctant patient but am always put completely at ease by Conor and his team. Not only is Conor efficient, gentle and competent he is funny and kind. The whole team go above and beyond from the moment you walk in the door. I had a cracked tooth which was very painful and couldn't get any sleep because of it. I rang the next morning in pain and couldn't have found the practice more helpful. I had a fantastic experience with this dental clinic. It took me 7 years to build up the courage to even go for a check up but ended up getting two big fillings done because Conor and Lorna were so understanding of my anxiety. They talked me through everything and even held my hand at the start which really helped. I felt so comfortable I even asked to get the teeth whitening option. The girls at reception were also so caring and put my mind at ease. I never thought I'd be able to fix my teeth but I can now go so far as to say I no longer have anxiety about dentists. I will be going again to get my wisdom teeth out soon, something I never imagined would be possible.... (Show more)
Have yet to be disappointed with Ratoath Dentist. Returns calls in a timely fashion. Always professional from clerical staff to dental nurse to dentist. Connor is an amazing dentist. He makes you feel so relaxed and at ease. I was sedated due to fear but to say i am one happy (now smiley) lady is an understatement. I would recommend ratoath dental to any one who is afraid to make that apt.
