Dr Rita Nel
BChD (Pretoria) Dr Rita Nel has been practising as a dentist for almost 25 years after obtaining her dental degree at the University of Pretoria in 1986. After practising in Pretoria for three years, Dr Nel worked in private practice in London for seven years where she attended courses in general prosthodontics, before returning to South Africa. She has been practising in Groenkloof, Pretoria ever since.

Dr Zander Grobler completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the Medical University of South Africa receiving the best final year overall portfolio in the class. He received employee of the year during his community service year. He has a passion for giving the best possible treatments to patients and has great interests in aesthetic dentistry. He completed a implantology course with the highly esteemed Dr Howard Gluckman. His focus is creating a stress free pleasant dental experience. He has received training with CAD-CAM and CEREC dental software to provide shorter dental visits. Younger patients are always a pleasure to treat for Dr Grobler and he offers theatre treatment for them. Dr Grobler also has a keen interest in surgical treatments and to provide them with precision. Dr Grobler likes to build a good rapport with his patients and believes in comprehensive treatments for his patients. In his free time he enjoys watching sports, any outdoor activities (fishing, camping, hunting, scuba diving) and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Nel is the best of the best! She did a root canal for me on one of my front teeth and you would never be able to tell. She also did a root canal on a molar and what another perfect piece of work by Dr. Nel. She has a lovely, caring, and calming nature. There is no one else I would go to!! Dr Rita is highly experienced and her techniques are absolutely cutting edge. Though straight forward, she is emotionally supportive and always insists on the best possible treatment for the patient. I recommend her unconditionally.
Excellent professional service for a family that was dead scared of a dentist. Dr Zander is so accommodating even play your favourite music during the appointment. Also have to mention the technology they use are absolutely the newest and great experience overall.

From dentistry to artistry. Rita Nel is a genius. What she has been able to achieve with my teeth in four days is awesome, and took a lot of work. I always had the feeling that she had a master plan for putting a smile back on my face. I always felt that she was in complete control and that she knew exactly what the end result must be. I chose this clinic because past patients sounded happy with the service they received. I got a reasonable price for the dentures and I’m happy with how they turned out. I got the impression the dentist was truly concerned and this made her excellent in assisting me. The staff were helpful and caring. I found Smile Solutions in a Google search. They made a new set of dentures for me, but I’m not wearing them yet because they don’t fit properly. When I informed the clinic about this, they told me I’m more than welcome to return, I just haven’t found a moment yet. Despite the fact that I’m not too happy with the dentures, I still had an overall good experience. I was really impressed with the clinic and their services. I hope the end product will fit properly. At some point, I’ll probably go back, but it’s quite a mission to go through the whole denture-making process again.... (Show more)
Friendly service
I would like to fully recommend Smile Solutions. I have been needing dentures as my real teeth were all cracked and crumbled, this fact alone made extraction exceptionally difficult. Added to that, I am terrified of needles. They are so kind and professional. Dr. Redelinghuys and her assistant Faith, have been excellent. They have been my rock. They have worked at a pace I am comfortable with and have held my hand every step of the way. I couldn't ask for anything more. I am ecstatically happy with my experience thus far and have seen happy clients young and old walking in and out of their offices. I enquired about dentures on this platform. Smile Solutions were the first to contact me and they followed up. They confirmed my first appointment, were accommodating when I was running a little late. They were compassionate and friendly during that appointment. They allayed my fears, answered all my questions and made me feel like I was part of their family. They furnished me with a very reasonable quote and said they could work at my pace as I have no medical aid. This Clinic and everyone who works there, and I mean everyone, is the most wonderful clinic I have ever been to. I can't imagine anyone not wanting to go there. I had a dentist consultation with Dr. Rita Nel at the Smile Solutions Clinic and while the consultation was quite costly and expensive, the service was good and the consultation was informative. The clinic was good, the service was great, the consultation and doctors were very professional but the cost of the consultation was quite steep.

Visited this institution to assist my pensioner mother (71) with new dentures (full set). Her old dentures were 19years old. Received a call-back almost immediately after the internet query and service was very well handled by Christel.
