Dr Mark Vucak
He has been specialising in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the past eighteen years. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1982. He went on to do a post graduate fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Dr Ian Tassan
After obtaining his medical degree M.B., Ch.B. in 1978, he obtained general medical experience during a year of internship and then 2 years working in a rural hospital during compulsory National Service. Following that work experience he then embarked on becoming a Surgical Specialist training in Cape Town. He then obtained his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1988 and returned to Port Elizabeth to commence private practice as a Plastic Surgeon in 1989.
Dr Tristan de Chalain
He completed his medical and surgical degrees in South Africa. He was then accepted for advanced postgraduate fellowships at two renowned North American institutes: Emory University’s affiliated hospitals in Atlanta, and the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children in downtown Toronto.

Great experience, right from reception to the end. Reception lady made me feel welcomed! I took notice firstly to Dr Mark Vucak’s incredible and decorated wall of his achievements and successes and I knew instantly I was in a good place! Dr Mark Vucak is a great doctor and showed time to care by grabbing the dermatology doctor and both guided and gave me the best way to address my problem! Had a good laugh too! Mark and the team at Queensland Plastic Surgery are absolutely amazing in every way. My wife underwent a significant cosmetic procedure with them and the results are incredible. The team are super friendly, caring and professional and continually go out of their way to ensure my wife received the very best of care pre and post procedure. This is my 3rd time using Dr Mark Vucak. I highly recommend him as a professional plastic surgeon. I live in Cairns an travel to make sure I'm using the best around. I have been very happy with all the procedures done. Staff always welcoming and a pleasure to deal with.
From Tracy and Keegan in reception, Bec in accounts, Nurse Joyce to Dr Vucak I can’t rate this team high enough! The care from start to finish was Phenomenal and the outcome was beyond what I expected.

Do your research before using these surgeons! After care is appalling, I woke up after surgery alone and groggy, no one from their team was there to assist me, and provide me with medication as stated. I have to undergo corrective surgery to fix their work.
Dr Ian is very nice my surgery was very quick and it went well. Also he looks like Gordon Ramsey and I think that's funny.
