Ms Lynn McGauley
Prinicipal Osteopath Lynn has always lived with an ethos of continually developing and learning. After an impressive 25 year career as a dental nurse and practice manager, Lynn continues to strive for personal improvement. This led to her taking a leap to begin studying for her Masters in Osteopathy at Swansea University, with the ultimate aim of helping more people in need. After graduating, Lynn gained experience treating both pregnant women and babies, as well as people from all areas of life. She initially worked in private practice in Norwich before moving on to Chester, finally finding her new home with us! Lynn loves the satisfaction she gets from helping people regain their physical and mental well-being, as well as assisting towards living a pain-free life. This passion for helping people, combined with her dental background, has provided her with a keen interest and expertise in jaw dysfunction – in particular, the relation to stress-induced clenching or grinding.

Ms Nicky Caldwell
Nicky is a qualified sports massage therapist who is passionate about helping people relax and recover through massage and stretches as well as mindfulness and breathing techniques. Starting her journey into massage in 2007, Nicky gained her Level 3 certificates in both Swedish body massage and Aromatherapy. After her son became a case study for the Royal Liverpool Hospital due to his rare skin condition – Linear Porokeratosis, Nicky was driven by her desire to learn about the healing properties of oils and massage to make life more comfortable for her son after his laser treatments. As a mother of three, Nicky’s motherly instinct helps her easily relate on a personal level to her patients, making them feel comfortable and aiding with their recovery. With a varied life and experience in lots of different industries, our patients walk away with a smile on their face after hearing a great story or two during their treatment.

Growing up I have always loved the outdoors. Through my teens I started developing a passion for various forms of outdoor sports – hiking, climbing, slack-lining, high-lining and yoga. But as my movement increased so did my injuries – this is what lead me to an interest in the anatomy of the human body, healing, body awareness and chiropractic. In 2019 I qualified from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic with a Masters in chiropractic (MsC). I love how chiropractic can help to significantly reducing pain and dysfunction in the body and can also maintain and restore a person’s general health and wellbeing. I believe that, for healing to occur in the body, you need a healthy and functioning nervous system and to achieve that , the spine which protects the nervous system , needs to be aligned and able to move optimally, allowing full nerve flow. In my treatments I like using various techniques, depending on what suites the patient the most, whether that would be a chiropractic adjustment, muscle release, kinesiology taping and movement and exercise advice.

I've been going to Lynn for some time now for weekly treatments on my back, neck, hips, legs...basically my entire body and she always makes me feel so much better after treatment. She is always very welcoming and we always have a great chat and a few laughs which also helps ease the pain haha. Would highly recommend Lynn for all your aches and pains. Excellent treatment from Margherita. Sorted my sciatica and her holistic approach identified other problems caused by the sciatica and older injuries. She has got me back running again, if you are suffering or struggling with any injury I highly recommend Margherita to sort you out.
