Mr Sérgio Pereira
Dr. Sérgio Pereira is the founder of Previdente and the actual Clinical Director. He has a degree in Dentistry from the Faculty of Odontology (IMES) which he concluded in 1990. Dr Luciana Camargo
Dr. Luciana Camargo graduated from the University of São Francisco – São Paulo in 2001 and post-graduated in pediatric dentistry from International Institute of Medical & Dental Science – Porto. After an initial experience in a dental clinic, she joined Previdente where she has responsible for fields of pediatric and general dentistry during several years. Over time, Dr. Luciana have been constantly improving her qualifications in restorative dentistry and aesthetic medicine. Currently besides being clinical sub-director she is in charge of one of the most challenging areas of dental medicine, prostodontics. Over time, Dr. Luciana attended several postgraduate courses in Aesthetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Medicine (Bot® and Hyaluronic Acid). She treats dental aesthetic and facial aesthetic cases. Dr. Isabel Gonçalves graduated in Dentistry from the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde – Sul in 1998 and, and immediately started teaching at the same university, for a period of 4 years. She has been practicing private practice dentistry since 1999, including a 3-year experience in Angola. Dr Renato Coelho
Dr. Renato Coelho qualified as a Dentist at Ensino Superior Politécnico e Universitário (CESPU ISCS-N), Gandra in 2013. He specialized in Endodontics having completed several courses, including Endodontics and Rehabilitation RPC Endo and Advanced Endodontics RPCENDO. Besides having also, a large experience in endodontics Dr. Renato has obtained practical experience in different areas of dentistry which gives her a broader perspective when planning treatments. Dr Leonardo Magnago
Doctor Leonardo graduated in Dentistry at the Universidade Federal de Alfenas (Brazil) in 2006. Later he specialized in Implantology at the Faculdade Unida do Norte de Minas – FUNORTE / ICS, where he got practical training in clinical implantology, advanced surgery, periodontics and prosthesis on implants. Before joining the Previdente team in 2020, Dr. Leonardo acquired more than 15 years of relevant practical experience and attended several courses in the areas of endodontics, oral surgery and, Orthopedics and Preventive Orthodontics in pediatric dentistry.
Dr Ronite Harjivan
Dr. Ronite has Master’s Degree in Dental Medicine from the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde Egas Moniz in 2012, having subsequently completed two postgraduate studies, one in Endodontics and the other in Basic Oral Surgery. Always looking for improving his qualifications in Dentistry, Dr. Ronite attended several courses over the years, including – State of the Art in Sinus Augmentation by Ziv Mazor, Clinical Course on Implantology, Predictable Removal of a Separated Instrument by Yoshitsugu Terauchi, Course in Oral Medicine and Biopsies, Flaps for Oral and Periodontal Surgery, and Course in Medicine and Oral Pathology. Therapist Madalena graduated in Speech Therapy from University of Algarve in 2012. She did internships in Alcoitão Rehabilitation Medicine Center and the Portuguese Cerebral Palsy Association of Faro. In 2013 she completed a post-graduation in Oral and Facial Motor Therapeutic Intervention, besides regularly attending courses related with Speech Therapy. Dr. Madalena joined the multidisciplinary team of Previdente in 2014, where she is responsible clinical cases of oral myofunctional disorder – speech, swallowing, chewing and breathing – working close to pediatric dentistry professionals. Very satisfied with the care received. The operation went very well for the placement of implants. Dr Sergio Pereira is very competent, reassuring and very professional. I was very happy and highly recommend the Previdente clinic. Had no pain. The only known problem at the Vilamoura dental clinic is the stair railing which is shaky and being a little disabled I had difficulty going down. This should be fixed quickly. Alwaye had trouble with my teeth since an accident many years ago. Was referred to Previdente. I got fantastic treatment there. Mandatory comment. On vacation for the first time in Portugal dental pain... I had to consult urgently, trusting the Comments. I first came across the adorable assistant who spoke French!!! She reassured me a lot and so I was given an appointment that same evening!!! I was lucky enough to be treated by a wonderful dentist. Kind, gentle, no pain, but above all a perfect job, he takes the time to explain everything to you, he does his job really well, and in terms of hygiene, nothing to say, just perfect!!!! If only he were in Paris there would be a need for many more dentists like you. I sincerely recommend it again, thank you for saving my vacation, thank you to all your team and good luck.... I broke a tooth on vacation. They responded to me the same day, and the problem was resolved. I was seen by Dr. Lara Cartaxo, who was very friendly, explained everything very patiently and was very professional.
I had several treatments this year with Dr. Cristina, where I was always treated with the utmost professionalism. PREVIDENTE is made up of high quality professionals. I highly recommend it.
For my part, I was lucky enough to see my appointment brought forward, since I was called following a patient's withdrawal. I really appreciated the care I was given. The Dr is particularly considerate. The cleanliness and seriousness of the place delighted me. I recommend🌹 …

I went to the clinic this morning and was met by very nice professional staff. I was a little apprehensive as I have never had to visit a dentist abroad before however they made me feel very welcome which put me at ease straight away. I booked an appointment with Dr Sergio after hearing many positive reviews from friends about the clinic and his work. I've had some tooth pain for years now, and visited several other dentists in the UK who could not find the source of the issue (including removing a tooth in the process). He looked at other issues I was having, such as bite and grinding and recommended a course of action, along with a detailed scan to rule out other issues. His expertise and caring approach to his patients clearly showed. Highly recommend.... (Show more)
I went there to get a quote and they asked me 40 euros for that! But only at the end of the short visit, not before. Not when they offered to make an estimate of the cost for the job. A very disappointing start....
Professionalism and friendliness in a very welcoming environment.
I also had a bad experience. Firstly i provided xrays that were current from my previous dentist (moved here) and they tried to make me do new ones and i declined. This should of been enough of a red flag. I got a temporary filling and paid 50 and was asked to go back to get a permanet filling. When i asked for a quote on this i was provided a price almost 2.5x more expensive ie 120 for a filling. Note the first apt was not an emergency and was disappointed they couldn't fix my tooth correct the first time during the initial visit. Regardless of whether a second visit is needed the price should not be that much more expensive to do the same work with different material. Seems strange to me that they wanted to see me in 2 separate appointments.... (Show more)

I went to this dentist for a dental emergency during my vacation. I was wonderfully well received, the welcome was perfect, plus the hostess spoke and understood my language which made communication easier. The entire team, including the dentist who took care of me, was warm, attentive, pleasant and above all attentive, putting people first.
