PMA San Paolo

Do you know what I understood? I understand that sometimes it is better to highlight both the negative and the positive things, making constructive criticism where there is any. So I decided to change my negative review. At the San Paolo hospital I found myself more than happy in some departments, especially in gynecology and in the blood sampling point. I did NOT have a great time in the psych wards. I can imagine the difficulties of this type of work, but it is also true that the other departments experience suffering of the same severity. I would advise the staff to take better care of themselves and the management to take more care of the psychophysical state of its employees. Thanks for your attention.... (Show more)

Terrible public facility. I went for problems with blood in the urine. After they couldn't find the artery to take a blood sample, both the nurse and the doctor started "digging" with the needle, causing me a lot of pain. Finally the doctor told me to go to my GP and after 4 hours of waiting, she discharged me telling me. 1 week of antibiotics, impossible to access the artery as your artery is unstable and cannot be accessed, go to your personal doctor.... Excellent structure in terms of breast care. High level medical and nursing staff, both professional and human. Very efficient

I have been there many times for different reasons and health issues. Every time I experienced something new and that is because every time I met with someone who was a great person and professional doctors. I am 100 % satisfied with the services they provided me. I had a very complicated situation and doctors handled it perfectly. It took me around six months to complete my treatment. However, I admired how much they cared and helped me to get better… my all prayers are always with them… They changed my life and they gave me a new life…... (Show more)

AWFUL hospital for admissions to the medical department. If you don't want to see a loved one leave there dead... don't take them to San Paolo! Uncaring doctors and nurses, some seem nice and kind but it's just a mask to reassure relatives. Even the meal service was terrible, they always made a mistake in bringing those for my grandmother who had a particular diet..... (Show more)

On 16 March 2024 I went to this facility to perform a colonoscopy... I had a great time with very kind and knowledgeable staff... I highly recommend it

The telephone number of the pulmonology clinic has only an aesthetic function. What use is a telephone number if it can't be used? Dozens and dozens of calls in two days and no answer: the call ends automatically after 3 rings. I have no other contact with the specialist. I need to vary my asthma therapy and I have my check-up in a month. Do I have to miss a day of work/study in the emergency room? Or in any case lose an afternoon just to go to the hospital to try to bring forward the check-up (without any guarantee that it will be possible)?... (Show more)

Repeated experience this year and - since the worst never ends - the service has worsened further. Lack of professionalism, competence, little attention to a 97 year old patient transported by ambulance....

Pelvic floor rehabilitation clinic. I have been going to this hospital for some time, recently I have been in post-surgery rehabilitation. What a surprise to find a person like nurse Cristina Mora; empathetic, professional, clear in explaining her work, with an undoubted human depth. Point of reference for patients. I was operated on by doctor Paolo Franchi, excellent surgeon and excellent person, extraordinary team, or if I waited a bit, it was worth it

They are not updated with the timetables but the doctors and nurses are very kind and friendly and explain everything to the patient. I have no words thanks to the radiology ❤️ and pathology doctors

Arrogant staff. Bad experience... 8 hours of waiting in the emergency room without a minimum of consideration, in fact they made me feel excessive. Super disappointed!
