As a dietitian,I have worked with Physio matters for nearly 10 years and have found them to be a friendly, approachable and dynamic team of physiotherapists. Physio Matters have a good understanding of the importance of working as an Inter Disciplinary Team (IDT) in the complex area of brain injury and really compliment the work of dietitians and other health care professionals. Colin and the team at Physio Matters are great at communicating and do so in a friendly and professional manner. They are experts in their field and we are always really pleased to get the opportunity to work with them. I would definitely recommend Physio Matters... (Show more)

Following surgery in July 2022 to remove a tumour from my spinal cord, I was left with nerve damage to my right leg causing problems controlling my foot. This meant that initially I couldn’t walk without a walking frame or crutches. Physio Matters were recommended by one of my hospital physios and I first saw Colin a week after my operation. He assessed me and assured me they could get me walking better than I was. I started with home exercises straight away and they also did a gym visit with me to sort out a training programme. I was also offered several additional options to help my recovery if I felt it necessary. Although improving the foot drop was my main goal, they worked on straightening my whole leg to help facilitate this and now you wouldn’t be aware I had an issue if you didn’t know. After only a few months I was walking independently, driving, playing golf and doing most of what I did pre op. I personally continued my therapy for 10 months for my own peace of mind. It gave me confidence to know that as long as I was doing what they had put in place I was improving. And I still am. I would highly recommend Physio Matters as specialists in their field and thank them for all their support and efforts with me.... (Show more)

My son has been using Physio Matters services for around 6 years. We cannot imagine using the services of any other neuro physiotherapists. At our request we have seen different physios over the last six years (at our request as our son likes to see different faces) and everyone brings their different personalities into the treatment room and makes the sessions fun but with goals. Activities are also used and so far we’ve done skiing, hydro and about to start a dj course hopefully getting my son to do therapy without realising he’s doing it! During the pandemic Physio Matters made sure therapy didn’t stop and I was told what to do over zoom calls. I’ve not noticed once my son getting bored in sessions and cannot recommend Physio Matters and their therapists enough.... (Show more)

We found Physio Matters online, we were eager to find someone who did home visits. Colin has been an inspiration for my husband, soon getting him on his feet after major brain surgery which had taken the use of his left side. He gave us hope, confidence & much needed support through our traumatic time. Would recommend it highly to anyone seeking treatment.... (Show more)
